Thanks folks! UPDATE: A LOT of progress since last I posted in this topic: Comparison to the original (I got a second one while working on the first; when it rains, it pours!): Stay tuned folks.... -

Hmmm.... *wonders what a 20 lb sledge hammer and that crystal would net Pike...*

Personally, I'd like to see him escape his fate. I know canon has him being crippled and confined to a chair only to end up back at Talos IV, but does that have to remain his end if they are redoing TOS?

The 'Hey look at this really cool model build I saw' post
pengbuzz replied to Shawn's topic in Model kits
They are; anime can be especially hard for me, since I like being photorealistic and I keep trying to correct to that instead of the anime proportions. Also: baking the Sculpey can be a pain as well, given that if parts are too thick, they can crack, burn or separate. -
Maybe once BW and HG get their agreements in line, we can see new stuff all around?

I would sculpt the heads from Sculpey; the bodies would be sourced from suitable 1/6 figs currently out there. Outfits would be hand-sewn. -

Not sure; I'd have to go hunt for it online. Do you mean the small "deformed" fighters, or the larger one that the 3.5 inch figs can sit in?

The Transformers Thread (licensed) Next
pengbuzz replied to mikeszekely's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I have no issues whatsoever with Bulkhead's joining the G1 crew, or his G1 design. I think this works quite well; I'd love to see a "1984 toy" version myself, but I may have to design it on my own to see that!- 17140 replies

I don't either, especially the F-35. The more complex and electronic they make these fighters, the worse they're gonna age. Given the F-35's very poor developmental record, the myriad ad-hoc fixes and the continual issues it's had (many given it's "multi-use" initial purpose), that one's going to be a veritable nightmare for some time to come.

Your most recent Macross or toy purchase! General thread.

Those look twice as threatening and three times as dumb as the original Bebop and Rocksteady! -
Thanks; I saw a couple at least that I didn't immediately recognize the maker or scale of.
