  1. Nah, give it to me; I'll fix it.

  4. That's all I wanted to hear....
  5. I need to get this! (wonder if it transforms?)
  6. No, it's okay. I'm the one who should apologize. I flew off the handle when I should have just read what you said without assuming anything was inferred. Please forgive my attitude. On that note: a family friend talked with my wife and pulled some strings for her to get me a couple of gifts for this Christmas: Photoshop CS5 Extended and a Digital Camera with an f-stop setting (Kodak Easyshare Z650), so by the time my new CVN-65 carrier is finished, I'll be able to photograph it properly and do all the stuff you suggested in Photoshop (finally!).
  7. Makes me wonder what "the real story" would look like. But then, since "canon" isn't a thing with Kawamori, I guess we'll never know...
  8. Okay, let me see if I can help illustrate your point a bit more, and put this in perspective for folks in this topic with a graphic I did some time ago: From my friend's house in Meriden, CT (blotted out for his privacy) to the local mall (about 3/4 of a mile away) is the distance the SDF-1 takes up according to scale. I did this graphic for him so he could understand just how big the ship really is! Having grown up in this city, let me tell you that walking the distance that the SDF-1 takes up from one end to the other and then using that as a mental measurement nearly broke my mind!
  9. I did not say that: my point was the fact that they sealed away these items rather than destroying them outright.
  10. I sometimes wonder if the Protoculture were intending to return for many of the things they supposedly "sealed". It would explain why they weren't outright destroyed...
  11. I think they need Knee Godzilla at this point....
  12. That reminds me: I really need to rebuild my Mazinger Z...
  13. So the delta wave device was a desperate gambit by the Protoculture to undo their screw up, then? Sounds like a last-ditch effort to salvage stuff before the end to me.
  14. Agreed; I've looked up stuff on Macross Wiki in the past, only to find out later that the information was either half-complete or just totally in error (on that note: Memory Alpha has become a waking nightmare due to all the stuff from Nu-Trek and ST:D, ST:P and Strange New Hair that people tried to shoe-horn into the wiki). To that end: if I need info on Macross, I either visit Macross Mecha Manual, or I just drop by here and ask you or the others (since I don't have access readily to Macross Chronicle per se). I've also learned not to read too much into stuff and try to make connections that aren't there; just because we think we might know what's going on doesn't mean that's what the folks making the varying series and movies have in mind (especially given the inconsistencies in the writing).
  15. I liked this! lol I also agree about the end acceleration thing! One thing they could have added: a guy in a workbee using a gigantic scrubber to clean the skidmarks off the spacedock floor from where the Enterprise peeled out!! On a more serious note: someone should do one where they miscalculate and hit the inside of the wall just next to the dock door.
  16. I remember in Macross Plus when Isamu took the YF-19 into fold to get to earth, the craft looked like it was moving in foldspace: At 32:13 in this video shows what I mean. Not trying to debate you on this Seto, but I'd like your opinion on that part.
