  1. Yeah... I think this entire idea can go right into the "circular file". Some things should remain unsolved and distant.
  2. I assume all the time; it's actually quite fun, as long as you're not doing it in things that matter. For example: I assume you like Macross. Yeah; we each tolerate things differently. The point is: if Liam wants to act, he can do so at whatever age he wants without owing an explanation to anyone.
  3. Yeah; really wish they had been able to put her in a museum instead of selling her off. Now she's scrap and that's that.
  4. Really coming along here! If the rest of this ends up looking as good as your cockpit work (and by all rights it should), you're probably going to walk away with the MW 3d render award* this year!!! *Not an actual award, but it should be!
  5. Wow! Each of them looks really well-done! Decisions, decisions...
  6. There's a series I wish they'd bring back! I doubt it would ever happen though, but I'd love to see them as 1/6 figures!
  7. Good point; I was trying to be generous to them. I remember in the TNG episode The First Duty, when Wesley and his fellow cadets were involved in an accident that killed one of their team. Picard said: "The first duty of every Starfleet officer is to the truth, whether it's scientific truth or historical truth or personal truth! It is the guiding principle on which Starfleet is based, and if you can't find it within yourself to stand up and tell the truth about what happened, you don't deserve to wear that uniform." I think that sums up one major problem with Picard: none of them (including Picard himself) seem to believe that about their own lives. If you can spare one, I have more than a few uses for it (such as keeping people from running me over in the store while I'm shopping! Those folks with grocery carts are MEAN!!! And don't even get me started on the ones with the mart carts!!! O.o )!
  8. Ah, gotcha; I missed that part. At my age, it's everything I can do to remember where I put my glasses last!
  9. He does it to help him cope with grief; Liam lost his wife Natasha Richardson about 13 years ago (brain injury from a skiing accident). When you lose someone you love, that takes a piece out of you in a way few things can. He's still mourning her to this day, and for him, acting is how he keeps moving and pushing forward: https://www.goalcast.com/liam-neeson-natasha-richardson-grief/
  10. Bandai did a new version of the VF-17? Last I heard, Yamato/ Arcadia had done one. O.o (kinda out of the loop here)
  11. Right? @Seto Kaiba So Seto: would they have enough battle fortresses there to take on a branch fleet?
  12. Agreed; I think the story overstayed its' welcome by that point and really just needed to end. As it is now, it's hard to feel any sort of empathy for the characters.
  13. Wow, they're really coming along with the cartoon likenesses!
  14. Sorry; I'm used to everything costing a small mint!
  15. Thanks MT: the blue to me though looks like it could use some green in it, but rather than go with one shade of blue or white, I'm going to be doing paneling on it with a trio of different blues, all slightly differing from the initial shade. I also have a base I'm working on, using materials a friend sent me recently. I'll have a pic up later; right now, I discovered the spray paint on the SDF-1 was still tacky after 3 days drying time, so I'm giving it time to dry properly (and using a hair dryer to bake it as well) as to lot let the paint smear, crack or otherwise self-destruct.
