    Actually, it's something I've been considering for some time now.

    Exactly why this movie shines so well; I feel in order for Batman to be seen properly, he has to be the narrator and show us his world from his point of view. Also, without the skills he's developed as a detective, the rest just makes him a psychologically-damaged man beating the daylights out of criminals in an armored suit.

    I figure the only way to fix this is to "reveal" that the Borg Queen that Picard/ Janeway"defeated" only managed a smaller "collective" and that the main collective not only still exists, but is far more terrifying than the tiny branch the Federation has encountered thus far. Borrowing from Macross: what they beat was a branch fleet and not a main fleet. Underline this fact with a Borg cube from the main decimating several worlds in a matter of hours, then more than one fleet sent to stop them, and finally, wipe San Francisco off the map along with Adm. Clancy. Of course, there's no way Paramount/Viacom/CBS/ the fiddle and the spoon/ whatever is going to do anything like that. And to be frank: it would probably come across as hokey and a fake out anyways.

    I wonder if Wave would consider doing any of the colony vessels at small scale (1/8000 maybe)?

    Right; sometimes I feel like rooting for the titans at this point. Yeah...I'm going to need suggestions, as I'm in a bit of a rut with anime watching right about now. Same old same old , with more whiny protagonists than a high school play.

    UPDATE: while waiting on materials for weathering the SDF-1, I kludged together a base/ stand for it: Amazing what you can accomplish with the lid for an old wooden cigar box, a piece of plastic grate for a fluorescent light, and a small plastic base from an acrylic baseball display cube. Now, i just need a post to display the ship in both modes. Stay tuned...

    I've been known to use sharpie marker ink squeezed into a cup of Pledge (you pop open the marker and use a pair of pliers to squeeze a drop or two of ink into the Pledge) to tint windows. And sharpie makes a teal marker, so that may work out for you.
