The Alien/Predator/Aliens vs. Predator Thread
Big s replied to VT 1010's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
With all that sulfuric acid, it might help mask your farts. At least you won’t have to hold em in. looks like they replaced the alien head one. All the ladies are gonna be disappointed -
Gremlins is definitely a great movie and is one of those where the dated comments add to the hilarity. One of my favorite bits of dated lines happened when the guy from the bank tries to flaunt how much money he has by bringing up the fact that he has cable. Robocop is a must watch movie as well and is a true treasure of absolute absurd humor and extreme violence the likes of which really hadn’t been seen in a non horror film up to that point.

Yeah, he was definitely one of those oddball characters. He just never really seemed like anything more than a hassle and seemed to be more of a get in the way kind of villain rather than anything. Kinda like a speed bump to the stories going on.

If I remember, it was an articulated figure and I think it was supposed to have the cloth and removable armor, but that part may have just been speculation on the prototype

I have no idea who this version of the character is. In the cartoons and old comics that I read, he was nothing more than a big game hunter that figured Spider-Man would make a great trophy. I don’t know if the plan was to put his head on a mantle or just to stuff him and stand him up in a hallway.around the time I had quit marvel, they had killed him off. I think it was by suicide. He never really was a favorite character of mine. But around the 80’s and 90’s he was always featured in the cartoons. He was a more frequent character than Morbius back then, but not as often as characters like Doc Oc, or Green Goblin, or scorpion, or Rhino or Electro seemed more like he was more of a B list enemy

I doubt this will have any avp tie ins and probably won’t deal with Prometheus or covenant, so those could be scratched off easily. The sequels past two aren’t great, so those can probably go as well. And this might not have any connection to the originals, but they’re too good to remove from the list -

It’s still gonna be the best show in the alien franchise -

Overall, I think Bandai’s hmr regult still looks slightly and really only very slightly better, but I like that this one hides the knee joints and it’s not bad at all honestly. They definitely improved it since the old pictures before the actual release. I just think it opens weird and is slightly wider in the body. I still think hasegawa is the best Regult

This is one factor and the other are the actual reviewers that have been bought by the company. It’s completely destroyed the credibility of rotten tomatoes on both the audience scores and critics scores. And the problems have become worse recently. Just can’t trust them at all unfortunately -

RT has been totally compromised. I think the best thing to do is to either go with what one of the critics that you trust or reviews from audience members that have had similar opinions as your own -

That’s just because they all went to go see Deadpool again. They’ll eventually have to check out aliens, but they may need to go for another viewing of Deadpool again a couple more times. -
Honestly, everything about this looks creepy. It’s odd to call it live action when everything is cgi except for the out of place human

I’m surprised at the kid. If it were me as a kid and my dad said, hey we’re gonna got to the movies tonight, I’d have totally been down for it. Same with my daughter, she’d probably have even talked one of her friends into going too.

Batman: Caped Crusader (Series) [Prime Video]
Big s replied to pengbuzz's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Watched a few more episodes of the show and it’s still kinda down the middle. I kinda get the feeling that they wanted to do a more mature show and then some body made them tone things down for the children. Episode 6 and Batman takes a break from beating up Cops to fight a ghost and not a Scooby Doo old man in a costume, but an actual ghost Episode 7 is a little more grounded in that nobody is super natural or anything. And punching police officers seems to be this Batman’s favorite hobby That was definitely the best of the three episodes I just watched. episode 8 is oddly back to the supernatural and it seems that it’s another short break from beating up cops Over the last three episodes this show sill isn’t a big flash of animation and the killing is still completely bloodless and the action scenes are fairly basic. Hopefully the finale will have something that shines to give the show a boost.- 50 replies

Nah, go watch Gremlins, even if it isn’t Christmas. The greatest Christmas movie of all time came out in the summer as well, so it won’t be so strange. Maybe in a few years they’ll add showings of Die Hard

I like the look of the Plamax kit best so far. Once you ditch the transformation, it looks far more impressive

I think for smaller ships, it’s by the upcoming year like cars. Honestly, I don’t know how they really do years in Starwars. I know the fans like the bby goofiness, but I don’t know what they go by officially in universe- 59 replies

Maybe they do it before so they don’t cry when their hard work goes down the drain. Personally I usually assemble, paint then a bit of a gloss coat, then panel line and throw the weathering steps in then a final coat. I change up the process depending on how gritty I want it to look

If you got to hobbysearch, they have the instructions for most kits. I’d say try looking up the paint guide page for the hasegawa equivalent and those are usually Mr color paints

If you happen to still be in the nearby area for breakfast, there an amazing place called Huckleberry’s on the walk area by the house of blues not too far from Disneyland. I highly recommend stopping in for breakfast. A lot of the food has a bit of a Cajun twist and they have a specialty brand of hot sauce. Not to mention that once you’ve been ripped off by Disney food prices, this place is an insane value. Was just there last summer to check out Emperor at the House of Blueswe weren’t expecting the plates to be so overstuffed and had a side order of their amazing beignets. The kids got different sets of chicken’n waffles and I had this Cajun style eggs Benedict thinking the food portions wouldn’t be too large. I was definitely wrong. I get the feeling you could turn any plate into a share meal. Definitely the best breakfast I’ve ever had in Anaheim, the city of brown

Where were these? All they did was act silly and slightly grabby. I used to think Walking dead had the lamest zombies, but Ahsoka proved me horribly horribly wrong.- 59 replies
