Nice’n dirty. The cat looks like he’s gonna start on the Falcon. Better be careful, he doesn’t look like he can be reasoned with

General 1/18 Scale Figure and Toy Thread

These all look great. I especially love that goofy lobster sandwich. It’s just a whole lobster, shell and all on a large roll with veggies and all the fixins. It even has mayo to help it go down -
Yuk! I’ve always hated that movie. It’s almost Sony Spider-Man side character bad, but with more goofy lights

Most of their kits go together without glue, but they sometimes have a part that’s a little loose, so a dab here or there might help. You could probably build it and if something does feel loose, then just take a little drop of super glue on the back of the part and should be fine. And instructions are super easy.

I looked back only one page and it seems there’s Shiver me Timbers and Popeye the Slayer Man already announced just a couple months ago. But I guess this one’s a first since the cast talks all britishy. The dude’s supposed to be all New England, not old England. they all look like 💩though. Popeye deserves better than this. Three cheap no budget horror movies with zero imagination. I still stand by one of my earlier statements about the subject and I think that everyone is trying to do horror, when a goofy hardcore comedy would be more fitting for a cheap subject

Most of the moderoid stuff is pretty good so far. They like to pick a lot of different subjects and they turn out pretty great. I can’t wait to see their Mospeada kits that are coming up soon

I thought it was supposed to have been when he made up for murdering a bunch of sand people and a whole bunch of children by dropping one guy down a hole. But then again since that one guy survived, I guess he didn’t do anything to make up for any of that and really wasn’t redeemed after all

I’m probably totally wrong, but it almost looks like a modified Mego Superman

Looks like a scene out of Robot Chicken

It’s so weird that this is one of the only major new master grade kits to come out recently. All the others have just mostly been slightly modified old kits

Yeah, I kinda thought that’s what the artifact line was, but then this comes out. I still think it would be cooler if the did a super small scale of poseable kits like the 1/220 or the 1/200 kits that they had done but with newer tech to make em really cool but small enough for gaming. I still think square should have done it with their little front missions trading kits.

That’s a pretty cool group of customs

I think first season of Squid Game was great, the second, not as much. If you’re not in a rush, I’d wait til the third season comes out later this year or whenever the last season of Stranger Things comes out. Either way, both shows are doing their last season this year and I guess you won’t need Netflix after that

I saw this a couple days ago and really wasn’t sure which section either. They are plastic models, but also more game pieces. I just think it’s a missed opportunity to try 1/200 kits again.

Other than Disney, I don’t know.

That’s definitely true, but I don’t think it would be too tough for them to do so. Almost everyone is getting a bw license agreement these days. They probably would just have to market them as limited items for Japan only.
-
Painting and plastic recoloring are pretty minor issues. I really don’t think that’s gonna be as big a thing as requiring new molds, but like I said earlier it’s gonna only be minor things that need new molds. Warning markings can probably easily be shared with maybe just some color adjustments

I’m pretty sure basic super packs are coming for the Robotech versions they’re making. I don’t know if they’re gonna be add ons or if they’re gonna be included. The M&M 1J’s had a couple different colors to them just in the show, so who knows what their plan is. The major differences between the series packs and the show ones mold wise are just the arms and the strike cannons, but it would be pretty simple just to do recolor plastic and change the arms. I’m curious if this is something they’re thinking about doing since the big costs are in the molds and they really wouldn’t have to make many parts for the movie. I guess we’ll see the further along they get, if they keep pumping these out for an extended amount of time.

More than likely I kinda wonder that if they could do some branded as Macross DYRL. It’s very unlikely, but they’d probably have to be made specifically for overseas purchase as a possible set of repaints with square hands and slight changes to the super packs on the arms along with strike parts. Maybe an online kinda thing since it wouldn’t require too much as far as changes mold wise from the Robotech stuff to DYRL.
