    Pg was definitely a much lighter rating than it is today. I remember Clash of the titans as a kid with odd mixes of nudity and gore that was the stuff of nightmares for a young kid. I’m a little iffy on who the primary audience is, but it’s definitely the target audience for sure. I am sure that there are a lot of kids watching though and it’s probably gonna be one of those franchises that will be passed to the younger generations for a while

    Yeah, unavailable at their U.S. version and doesn’t seem to ship outside Japan i wish I knew. I haven’t really had an issue with their website before and even the majority of the Bandai stuff seems pretty easy to get these days. Maybe some of the sites the toy buyers are using might have them at a markup

    I never liked the old frag viper. I think it was the lacrosse arm that seemed stupid. Why not just give em a less complicated grenade launcher or a gas gun or both. And I think the old one looked more fleshy if I remember correctly

    I actually like all three of those and they seem to be getting new merch decades later

    Honestly, I haven’t really seen anything on D+ that’s not really for kids other than some odd additions like the Deadpool and Alien stuff. Andor kinda sits on a line that’s more like young adult, but still kinda kiddish

    They didn’t even profit from Andor. Most of these shows usually just end up with smaller and smaller audiences. I don’t know if the new one is doing well though

    He’s better as a side character. Although I think a more over the top energetic actor would be better. Personally, I’d love to see Willem Defoe in that role

    I get it, it can seem a little repetitive sometimes building the extra parts.

    I was just watching the Key and Peele episode earlier today where Mr. T kept harassing kids with PSA’s, but only when the subject pertained to him

    I’m sure that’s a part of it, but even a kid wouldn’t wear something they’re embarrassed of. A good amount of the people playing the games seem to be the kid range in the demographics. Most of us adults have a hard time keeping up with them and give up early

    But I will say that most people of the past generation really didn’t badmouth most of those mecha shows, while I hear a lot of complaints from this generation about the copycat reincarnation shows. Either way I’ll definitely take another watching or two of Southern Cross over the majority of the modern anime

    I see a lot of kids with Star Wars shirts running around. Just I’m pretty sure they’re not as interested in the toys like the older generation was. But they do tend to like the video games a lot.

    Not gonna lie, that totally hits harder with the classic sound. Like a lot harder. That’s a Superman trailer

    I kinda wonder if it’s more of a contractual thing like with Rings of Power. I don’t know anyone else personally that’s even started the show and there really isn’t a lot of talk about it online. It does seem like an expensive show to produce, but then again most of the actors are kinda on the lesser known side of things, so maybe it’s saving money there.

    The Max is pretty easy to find at the usual hobby places, but not sure what to do about Kakizaki. It would kinda suck not to be able to complete the team. I know bbts sometimes puts their web items up for sale, but at a slightly higher price, but I’m not sure with this region block going on I kinda doubt it. I don’t think any of their web releases have become general releases. I’m hoping I’m wrong though.

    Not gonna lie, if I were a kid getting a crappy meal, I’d love these as a consolation for soggy fries and a bland burger

    That’s basically what I was saying a bit above. It’s like transforming a total doof into a manly hero and helps conceal who he really is a lot better

    Honestly, most of the builds I’ve seen of the 1J were done without getting rid of the seams. They put them in hard to spot ways and you kinda have to really look at pictures to notice what has or hasn’t been done. I highly recommend these kits for those that do put in the work and for those that just slap em together
