  1. Even the stuff I’ve seen where people were successful with the product, they basically said it wasn’t for larger gaps. It seems more for smaller areas and spots where there is a lot of detail that could accidentally be sanded away.
  2. They probably were just in the close area. It seems like between all the shows that are post empire, they only have a small handful of bumpkin cops handling entire star systems. I think Ashoka had the most with five in one area. Mandalorian had like two or three available and here we just see two. I’m not really sure if they even have a basic handle on things. And the creepier part is that they don’t have a way to arrest anyone. I guess if the crime isn’t that bad, they trash their ride and if it is they just execute the perpetrator
  3. I don’t know about that, almost every family is missing a parent. It shows how truly dangerous analytical jobs really are. As far as grades, the parents seem super worried about their children not getting a C+, maybe the lower performing children get recycled
  4. Saves president Ronnie and only gets a burger for a reward
  5. That’s more of a question for the metal build thread. But from someone that doesn’t buy gundam toys, it seems the metal builds are a step up in price and ugliness, while the chocking ones seem a bit closer to the proper look but with some metal parts. I may be wrong though since I only buy the gundam model kits
  6. It’s kind of a played out thing that Disney likes to do lately where there’s the girlboss and the dumb dude main characters. I probably wouldn’t have said anything about it if it didn’t seem to be in everything they do. Anyway, just saw the newest episode and it’s definitely still on the fun side and seems to be showing more of the galaxy than any other Star Wars show in only the third episode. Maybe they’re going for a record, but it is good to see places other than the usual spots like Tatooine, although I really hope I didn’t jinx it, they did show a couple Jawas.
  7. Also odd that their rerelease of the legioss is mixed in there, while aoshima just did a rerelease of the legioss transforming kits with no issues. I really don’t know the reasons here for the decision
  8. A lot of YouTubers were talking about this last night. I guess no more odd spinn off movies and just focusing where they should. I think shows are a bit different since they’re supposedly keeping that Amazon Spider man noir project with Nick Cage. But no more stupid movies.
  9. I tried finding it on the usual Japanese sites like hlj and hobbysearch and they wouldn’t list them . Hobbysearch has a weird work around to view their Japanese only items and I think I posted it a page or so back. Basically you have to go to the url and erase the English part, then the Japanese version of their site comes up and I did find their listing for the rerelease of the legios, and the basic tread. It wouldn’t show on the English version of their site. It’s the same trick you have to use to view their Bandai model kits.
  10. I’m not sure if I’ve ever liked either version of Suspiria. They’re kind of those art house uncomfortable kind of movies that do really great at making you feel uncomfortable, but don’t feel that memorable. Not scary and not super creepy and just uncomfortable to watch. They succeeded in what they were trying to do I think but I’d never do a rewatch of either one.
  11. Over the weekend had a pretty good discount on it, I think it was 20 percent off, but i think that sale ended. They often have more sales going on around these holidays and it might be good for some to wait on those, but it was still out of my price range and I lack the space
  12. It seems to be a love it or hate it kind of product. I’ve seen a lot of people that swear by it and others that can’t seem to make a seam disappear with it. I personally haven’t tried it out yet and really can’t speak for it other than what I’ve seen from other people’s experiences. How long do you wait to wipe it away? I got a couple older kits that have a couple tough spots to get to and was wondering about some tips on the process from someone that’s actually had success with it since I’m not sure how to sand a super tight spot and the seam bugs me
  13. I used to have a couple large Titan in the epic scale many years ago
  14. Same here. I’d rather just have one good story instead of having to invest years of life into a show
  15. The size was already difficult for me to justify, but the price is a definite deal breaker. I’d still love to have it if I win the lottery
  16. Looks like the D-Fundam First goes up for preorder tomorrow night on the U.S. p-Bandai store website
  17. While I don’t like nocturne as Miss the first series, I’m still gonna look forward to it
  18. At least you know it’s a story you already told. I don’t realize it till my lady says “ you just TOLD me that last week!!!”
  19. The real question here is if you can get Riker’s leg to go over the top of the chair for his famous maneuver
  20. I’m just calling it a pre senior moment. I’m getting older and finding that sometimes I tend to repeat myself and often don’t realize it until someone, usually my lady informs me that I’ve done it again. It’s usually some lame story that I told a week before that I may have told a week before that that I may have even told a week before that
  21. If I’m not mistaken with the Vallejo putty, you don’t sand it. From what I’ve seen , it’s used with water and something like a q-tip or tissue to smooth it out. I don’t use the stuff and the only thing similar that I’ve tried is perfect plastic putty. Although even though the name says perfect, it’s far less than perfect. My understanding is that the Vallejo consistency is supposed to grip edges better and stick so it reduces the leftover lines in the areas that need filling. Personally I don’t use these kind of putties because of my dislike for perfect plastic putty. I’ve really only had a couple of successes with it and most of the time I’ve had to just add super glue to fix it. Although, at least it doesn’t melt the project the way a solvent type like Tamiya can.
  22. I guess these lower budget flops make up for it with the money they get from Spidey movies and his mcu appearances, but they’d make more money if they actually did something good
