  1. To be fair, that’s really just a theory on how time travel works. Nobody has actually done it and there’s really no proof of alternate time lines. It’s all sci-fi at this point.
  2. I get what you’re saying, but they’re doing an animated project, so you know it’s going to be a bigger thing. It’s very rare for these things to be done in a small way these days. Castlevania tries to be horror, but it’s just a big action thing and that Witcher cartoon as well. There are horror elements, but in the case of Terminator it could be toned down some since the human characters were superpowered or magic. Hopefully it’s not another story where a terminator becomes a good guy. If this was a live action movie or series then a smaller more sci-fi horror thing would definitely work best both for budget and story.
  3. To be honest, I think most of the metal builds are ugly in comparison anyway
  4. I think Alien would definitely do best with a simple horror thing. Terminator as an anime kinda begs for bigger action. Although I’d love to see the machines as somewhat more unstoppable enemies that aren’t so easy to put down. It could make for more of an action horror kind of story that would be far more thrilling than just watching wave after wave of derpy exoskeletons dropping with only a few bullets.
  5. I’d be far more interested than that than a time jumping alter the future setting off inescapable paradoxes kinda gimmick
  6. It’s definitely cool. I just sometimes lose track of individual threads here. I try to keep up, but sometimes I see something cool much later than expected. Can’t wait to see how this turns out
  7. It almost works at1/144. But at that scale it’s best to just let the wash act as a shading. At 1/72 it does work and works pretty well. That’s why a the outlines with the wash work to help outline the eyes before going in with the white. The smaller colors of the eyes at that scale work best drawing them in with either colored pencil that’s sharp or a mechanical pencil. It’s one of those things that since it’s so small that the idea is to just leave a little white on the edges and color the middle and make sure it’s a flat white so the pencil stays in. If for example you want blue eyes you shade the eyes to get the outline and then a little drop of flat white in the between the lines. Then take a sharpened color pencil and you don’t have to make a perfect circle, just use the pencil to live a little white on the outer edges of the eyes. Then you can center the eyes better by putting a tiny dot with the point of the mechanical pencil and it’s all done with no art degree needed. When you put the gloss over it can give a little shine and protect the eyes in case you need to do some touch up work in case you need to do a darker wash to make a eyelash effect. it all sounds way more complicated and difficult than it really is. This technique will also work on 1/100, but it gets tougher to see the details and at 1/144 you’re probably better off just using a darker skin or brown wash to make it appear like shadows. I wish I had some examples to show, but a lot of my stuff is still in boxes from last years move.
  8. I’ve always thought they sounded too much like Led Zeppelin.
  9. It’s definitely tough to find a new audience for older dread franchises. the thing is one of those that I never really met too many from my generation that really remember it. Big trouble is a fun one to put on for people due to the attitude and awkwardness. unfortunately it’s tough to find young people that will sit through Blade Runner, but at least that gets new material every now and then to bring it a little forward for when they can appreciate it when they mature a little.
  10. I tend to start with the face in the flesh color and then use either a darker flesh or black as a wash to outline the eyes. I then just get a little bit of flat white in there and draw the pupil with a mechanical pencil or color pencil depending on eye color. After everything is basically colored in I use a gloss coat to add some shine and protect it in case I want to do a little wash for lining eyelashes. You can also do a little tiny spot dab of white on the top corner to give an anime style light glare effect.
  11. Nipples and butt crack suits incoming for some reason. That’s a definite skip for me. That’s high on my list of most hated Batman movies
  12. I’m really burned out on the Terminator thing. The first two films were great, the show was good, but the idea is kinda boring now especially with the overuse of time travel/ multiverse boredom that’s getting way overused. Back in the 80’s and early 90’s it didn’t feel as overly gimmicky as it does now. If I hear the show is really good, I might check it out
  13. Not a fan of the clown colors myself
  14. I thought the last season was the last season
  15. Seing how this is at the p Bandai U.S. store for preorder currently, then the custom probably will as well. Then again maybe they will switch things up and put the custom as a standard, but that’s doubtful just double checked the p Bandai U.S. store and the place holder is up, but the preorder starts on the 16th
  16. Finally had time to watch this final episode of the final part of the final season of possibly the final anime I watch. It really explained quite a bit, but oddly wasn’t as high of a death count as I expected. But it was a good watch even though for the most part it ended as expected.
  17. I didn’t even know there was a Code 8 Part I
  18. Found an overhead picture from the line art and it has a similar design to the groove on the movie version kitso as far as I can find, it looks as if the channel goes back a little and then there’s a stop and a triangular cut by the antenna side rather than at the front
  19. I’m more interested to see him play Lobo. He looks that part and definitely does the hard rockin. I was watching vids of him with Phil Anselmo at the final show for Slayer and he had that kind of attitude
  20. So that channel may not go back all the way. The old Imai kit didn’t have it go back at all, but I think they made a mistake since looking head on at just artwork gives it a different look, but you can see it go back if you really pay attention to the art.I thought I’d compare it to the movie edition from hasegawa and on that it comes back, but not all the waythen this one of the tv version from the back of the head appears to be a similar thing where the channel may not go all the way back. I couldn’t find another rear picture to show it better from the series on a quick search
  21. If they capitalize Max on the expected recolor, then we’ll know something is up
  22. I haven’t actually heard a live recording of that one. Personally I really only like their first few albums because of the higher energy, but even those albums had their calm moments.
