    Exclusives can only be purchased through the Tamashii webshop which is for Japanese residents only. The preorder stays open for a while and several stores act as proxies to let us folks outside Japan make an order at a modest mark-up. Regular releases are at many stores and usually at discounts below MSRP but it's a complete free for all... you'll get the item cheaper but you're gonna have to be quick.

    100% agree, I'd definitely take this over the Prime 1 any day.

    On the plus side, there is some pretty significant remolding there. The intakes, chest, waist, hands, and shoulders are all reshaped. Still too bad they kept the swing out door above the right shoulder... looks so goofy.

    I love me some mech battles, and Zero scratches that itch, but I get the hate for it. First, it dove headfirst into the "sufficiently advanced technology seems like magic" element that was also used to justify the Sailor Moon act of Delta (although there are certainly elements of Plus and Seven that went there also). Remember, there's a bunch of flying rocks and sorcerer stuff in Zero that was initially a big WTF moment for a lot of fans (particularly fans that were never thrilled with Mac7 who thought they were getting a gritty realistic show or fans that still identified more with Robotech). The story also jumps around... I think I actively searched for the episode between 4 and 5 only to realize it didn't exist. Shin Kudo was also like an Isamu Dyson without charisma. I'll give this to Delta, Hayate isn't nearly as unlikable as some of the other male leads in Macross.

    Does anyone happen to have a clean, fairly high resolution photo of a Yamato 1/3000 SDF-1 assembly kit box they could send me? I'm hoping to find one that is pretty straight on. I can fix color or whatever, just need a clear image that's not blurry. If you got one, please either just post it here or shoot me a PM. Thanks!

    I have listened to 3/4 if the podcast while I edit photos for my site, it's good stuff, definitely recommended listening if you don't mind spoilers.

    I missed this earlier... might be a typo on the measurement of the VF-0.... unfortunately I probably won't have another VF-0 toy in battroid mode until the PF comes out to double-check. I know I have the VF-0 listed as 25CM in other places which would still put it a bit smaller than the 31. I'll have the 31 out to double check that measurement when the Kairos is released.

    When Calibre releases their tomcat and the rest of mine come in, I'll shoot some pics and check it out pretty thoroughly.
