  1. I have to say. The lower legs of MP-22 are terrible. The center piece of the lower leg that is folded up into the back of the trailer is just to small everywhere. There are gaps in the front, gaps on the side and gaps on the back. Also he needs to lean forward to not topple over. Why not bring the center leg piece a bit more forward to the shins to remove the gap between the legs and the shin guards a bit. I still like it because it is the one transforming Ultra Magnus toy that comes the closest to what I imagined Ultra Magnus would look like from my childhood memories and hopefully the paint job lets MP-22 look less noisy than the gray prototype pictures. Articulation seems terrible limited too. Worse than MP-10 and ever worser than all the other Masterpiece Transformers after Convoy sans the seekers. To me it seems like the elbows could bend less than 45 degrees. The designer (Hasui I think) showed that he could do great designs so maybe this is the best one can do given the source material. The butt flap however is terribly lazy because you could easily engineered a second joint in the middle of the cap roof to fold it in have and shorten it I think. Bumblebee looks great in color though. The hollow forearms don't look terrible no but I feel Takara should have done something different with them. His forearms are pretty tiny so maybe any other solution would've resulted in a toy that breaks very easy. So rant over I guess. Can't wait till August for MP Wheeljack.
  2. MP-22 looks interesting..... ...at least the head looks like Ultra Magnus in this close-up pictures.
  3. I can see that the shoulder transformation for the Durandals are not very fun. However the VF-25/VF-27 are fun to transform. Not as much fun as some of my other transforming toys but that stems from the fact that those where designed to be transformable toys and no collector pieces/representation of on screen characters.
  4. For me the worst offenders are the color of the feed, nozzles and beam turret barrels. The gun-pod color is a close second though.
  5. Just saw the pictures of the Hi-Nu Ver. KA. I'm disappointed that the kit doesn't seem to have a transforming frame like the Nu Gundam and the Sazabi have.
  6. The Brachiosaurus looks like something out of the prehistoric reboot of Berserk. The Movie Dinobots look quite cool but after DotM Shockwave I decided not to buy anymore movie Transformers.
  7. My YF-29 has been shipped by NY.
  8. I would say the Yamato 1/3000 SDF-1 because it is already built.
  9. So you're planning to buy and build the 1/2000 SDF-1?
  10. EMS for me. I send them an email asking if they know for certain that they will be able to fulfill my order. Depending on their answer I will keep it or not. If not hopefully they allow the cancellation of the YF-29 Ozma Custom Super Parts as well.
  11. I guess it has to to with the Battroid-Mode. In Battroid the light gray from the underside of the cockpit area is visible. I guess the light gray stripes should help the torso area to look a but wider and not as spindly. This is just a guess though.
  12. Thanks for the info. I ordered some sticker sheets but I messed up the number of the sheets I want to get so hopefully they can change that (I emailed them 5 seconds after I placed the order) otherwise I will have a bunch of extra Autobot logos.
  13. So fiddling some more with my copy of the YF-19 I really dislike the way the tail-fins are designed. Is there any way to fold them with the Super Parts attached? Or do I have to detach the leg packs every time I transform it? I really don't understand why Arcadia parted with design on the Yamato one. It looks stunning in Fighter-Mode and I prefer the way the shield is attached to the forearms in Fighter-Mode. On my Excalibur it always falls of when handling the toy. The leg packs are crap. But I'm still happy with it.
  14. I like the storage option on the shield so I would like to be able to flip in the handle without prying the plastic apart.
  15. On further inspection everything looks ok on my copy. However I don't know how the handle on the gun-pod suppose to fold down. When I remove the shoulder rest I can fold the handle down in the little cavity. Now I don't know how to get the shoulder rest back onto the gun-pod. I'm unable to slide it over because there is a stop that prevents the handle from folding down in non-storage-mode. Am I suppose to clip the shoulder rest onto the gun-pod? Any help. I also like the underside of the YF-19 much more than on the VF-19S I have. It looks much less gappy. Especially the area between the elbows and the egress hatch.
  16. Don't get me wrong I have the VF-171CF but the Armored Parts looks so bland with the dark green color of the Valkyrie. The colors combination on the Alto version looks so much nicer to me. So maybe someday I will have a armored VF-171EX and a bare VF-171CF. I also said I don't like the YF-25 but with every day the blue, orange and white looks more striking.
  17. With all the yellow linings all over the Valkyrie it reminds me of a ZoE mech. I like the place of the skull logo. Every other place would make the YF-29 look unbalanced. It is a cape insignia and thus should be placed on the cape.
  18. I have a quick question. Has anyone experience with ordering from Reprolables? I want to order some faction sticker sheets but I'm not certain what to do exactly. From the sparse information I gathered I came up with this. Mail them your order and shipping address to delta@reprolabels.com Put the items of your order into the shopping card at their web site Pay through Paypal Is this the way to do it? Thanks
  19. Or four huge missiles. It would be cool if additional weapon bays are transformable as well for more play value.
  20. Quick question. On this picture look at the area where the dark gray of the main fuselage and the light gray of the cockpit interior meet. To me this looks like paint overspray. Does this mean that the entire fuselage is painted in this dark gray color just like on the YF-29 30th Anniversary? Or is it the other way round and the light gray is painted?
  21. Is the weapon bay designed to detach so it could be swapped with other weapon options?
  22. Of course my comment was aimed solely on Frontier Valkyries. I feel the urge to get a YF-25 and a VF-171EX Alto Custom.
  23. I love MMCs Airborne Squad. They are great toys. Even after all the time I had my Warper I still love to play with him. So many options! Sorry for the crappy pictures!
  24. They always ask me after a order (everything goes to the PW first) if I like to pay with auto transfer or without. Maybe you clicked on the auto transfer once and now it is stored as preference. If there isn't a way to change it in your account settings send an email to the HLJ customer service and see if they can change it for you.
  25. I hope it is similar to the Gerwalk-Mode stand adapter for the Messiahs. They also have a support fork but can stand fine without it. Probably it is there to reduce the stress on the piece.
