  1. I don't have a Nebula so she's a purchase for me, I got Legends Gamora and Drax and they work okay, I'd upgrade to proper Figuarts if they get announced. As reported from the leak a few weeks back, there is indeed another Figuarts Broly on the way from the DBS Broly movie, non-powered up Broly. I loved the film, so I need both versions.

Nothing from HLJ yet, but I'm in no rush, I've still got stuff there to ship, and I won't be shipping this and the rest of my private warehouse stuff until Masterpiece Beast Wars Megatron drops, aka the big purple dinosaur, aka the real Megatron, not that overpriced MP-36 nonsense . Monkey not truck! (I got an MP-36 Megatron too, I'm just still quite salty about the final product and price though).
  3. I love that more people watched this, agreed, Bill Hader is fantastic, and is far more then just comedic talent, the guy has real acting chops. Also, what a brilliant and fun cast, Anthony Carrigan is hilarious, and I LOVE him on Gotham as Victor Zsasz. I'm ready for the next season, last season's ending had me holding my breath, STARTING.... NOW! Damn I didn't know this was coming back this month, let alone so soon, I LOVED this show! Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant are hilarious in this! It's a nice, funny, fairly interesting take on zombies.
  4. Quoted for truth. I loved Cuphead to death, it was phenomenal, but damnit if it didn't get REALLY hard at a few parts, like, too hard for me sometimes. I like a challenge, but Cuphead took real trial and error, and patience, patience for days. Glad to see it coming to Switch though, this whole buddy-buddy thing between Nintendo and Microsoft is interesting, another amazing indie game, Ori and the Blind Forest, is supposedly coming to Switch too, plus I finally got to play Minecraft with my younger second cousins and nieces and nephews and what-not, me on my X1X and them on their Switch. I wonder if this will go the other way and we'll see something Nintendo related on Xbox and PC? Honestly, I'd take Bayonetta 2 remastered in 4K on my X1X, that'd be amazing. Also, rumors are flying, and once again these are just rumors, Cuphead could come to Smash. Wouldn't that be something?
  5. I think he was dropped from that too, unless it was never fully confirmed he was even on board for them. Who knows at this point. I wonder if Warner/DC is going to try to lock him down for more projects now that Disney/Marvel is willing to play ball again.
  6. Definitely not, she's an active racist, as in a racist a-hole now and currently, not a decade ago, and it wasn't the Ambien :).
  7. Saw this earlier, damn good news, he gets to finish his trilogy! I also read production will begin after he finishes up Suicide Squad 2, he gets to play both sides of the field, Marvel and DC, awesome stuff. From what I read Disney made this decision quite a while ago too, it just couldn't be made official and couldn't be reported on until now. Who would've thought, Disney made a stupid knee-jerk decision, were rightfully derided for it, now realized money is good and they are bringing him back.
  8. Yeah I've been interested in this one, but I've read the micro-management can get a bit irritating. It seems a blessing for some, and a curse for others. I like me some micro-management, but it can definitely go too far.
  9. Watch the new trailer, his "true" form, or genie form, is indeed blue, but he has a human disguise form that is essentially just Will Smith kind of cosplaying as genie.
  10. It seems more based on the games then the previous Rock film, but that's not saying much, and it still looks pretty terrible. No stars. Bad effects. Straight to DVD. Why was this green-lit again? Also, is this a sequel or even prequel to original 2005 Rock film? Because I don't think it's connected. One of the guys in the trailer says they opened a portal to hell, like in the games, but that wasn't the story in the 2005 Rock film. In the 2005 film it was about some stupid ass, bullshit, ancient alien virus or something, that, one again stupidly, turned you into Doomguy/superhuman is you were a "good person", or turned you into a creature slightly resembling demons from the Doom games if you were a bad person. Or if you're the Rock, kind of neither, because he was the star and ended up being the main bad guy, and they weren't just going to be cool and turn him into a Hell Knight or Mancubus, or something, so he just kind of grew goofy little fangs and had a mean look on his face. What a crap show. Funny enough, Bethesda just yesterday savagely posted they have ZERO INVOLVEMENT with this film, they are, thankfully, focused on the next phenomenal looking Doom game.
  11. Excellent review as always, and I LOVE my BadCube Grump, he's a brilliant MP minibot, but this stuck out to me, as I had the same feeling. The main thing reviewers and some fans didn't like was tabbing the small tabs that fold out from the chest section into the front two wheels. It's not impossible, and honestly I never found it difficult either, it's not nearly as bad as parts of Wardog or as mentioned, some of the Fans Toys stuff that was coming out at the time as well. I kind of get it, he's a minibot, he should be simple, but that was the only truly tricky part of the transformation, and once again, I thought it was a breeze. Even if it was a bit tricky to tab in and line up, it could be avoided altogether, on mine after some time I simply removed the screws and removed the little tabs behind the chest, they are absolutely NOT necessary for transformation, that whole assembly frictions into place between the front wheels just fine, the tabs really aren't needed. I honestly really enjoyed all of the MP minibots from BadCube, I thought they did a damn fine job nailing the bot modes, and I feel the alt modes looked as good as they could considering BadCube tried, except for Gears, to go for "realistic" alt modes, for characters that pretty much always had chibi style alt modes in the cartoon. It bugged me a bit for Gears, being more chibi then the rest, but he always had the most difficult to define alt mode, I've seen many examples of what he could be, and it seemed he wasn't based on any one vehicle like everybody else, he was a little hybrid chibi vehicle, and BadCube did the best they could.
  12. I think my favorite, also my first, Voltron figure was my old plastic Trendmaster Lion Voltron. It combined of course, but it also had the little opening cockpits, including the chest on black lion, and came with little single color pilots that matched the color of their respective lions and had one bit of articulation, they bent at the waist. I don't remember seeing too many pics or other videos of that version of Voltron in particular, I remember several years ago I wanted to track a new one down for nostalgia, and all I could find were separate releases for each lion. They were the same figures, opening cockpits with little removable pilots and all, they just weren't in a complete set, and I very distinctly remember getting my Voltron as one big set, not separate releases for each lion.
  13. TE-01 is just so perfect to me. I recently got some upgrade bits from TFW2005 member Jream, and they really add to the figure. Little blue vinyl circles, perfectly color matched, to cover the metal slider on the sides of the legs, waterslides for the chest windows in light and dark blue, and cell shaded/animation style window waterslides, plus a nice white outline waterslide Autobot logo for the shoulder. There's the new head on the way, with more prototype shots on TFW2005, and it looks phenomenal, plus it looks like it transforms, unlike earlier reports where everyone thought it would be static and would have to be swapped for the original transformable head. MS-01 was never for me, but I love that two different third party companies came along and gave the folks what they like, options. I know some people were never going to bite on MP-44, and TE-01 just looked like a cheaper alternative to MP-44, more toon styled then anything. So it's good to see another company step up and deliver an update to MP-10 that wasn't striving for complete toon accuracy. At some point the last mod I will need to do is to paint the grey, square section on the crotch white to match the rest of the hip skirt section, I really have no idea why TE left that grey and the rest white, it's quite distracting IMO. Also, depending on the new head, I gotta paint this stock head's face grey, the head sculpt looks good to me, I just don't really like the face in white. No idea on how to paint this guy up though or what to use, so we'll see how that goes...
  14. Yeah the Mustang is sweet, highly recommended. Really fun build too, the steering wheel mechanism is quite interesting.
  15. Well done Lego, this is one of their cleanest cars yet, highly recommended.
  16. It might be full CG now, Jennifer Lawrence very publicly complained, many times, about how much she hated getting covered in make-up for the role. On a side note, agreed with everyone else, this looks bad. Not just like another meh X-Men film, but visually, the effects and look come off as a film from 2006 or something. I'm also continuously baffled at the talent involved, and then the ending product. With this cast, these films should be incredible.
  17. Any other Lego VIPs ordering their Mustang tomorrow? I know I am, and I am absolutely paying for overnight shipping so I can get it Saturday. This thing looks insanely beautiful, the blue is gorgeous, and the extra customization bits look really neat, I don't know how I will decide to display it, it looks so damn good I'll probably be pulling it off the shelf often to switch it up. I think Lego nailed this one, I've always been a huge classic Mustang fan, so this is definitely a must have set for me. After the incredible Bond Aston Martin, I bought up several Lego cars, they're definitely some of the more impressive Lego sets you can buy IMO.
  18. What? I know you posted quite a while ago yours was on the way, I fully expected to have seen pictures by now. Did you order from NY? So it was UPS that lost the package then? What shipping method did you use? That's pretty shitty, more so considering he is a TWE item, and NY is kind of notorious about being nearly worthless when it comes to lost packages. Not trying to rub it in, but mine just got delivered to work via USPS about three hours ago, and that was shipped EMS, what shipping method ends with UPS delivery? If it is lost, would UPS cover it, or NY? I can only imagine the frustration, that's really shitty to here.
  19. Wow, BBTS clearly got a big shipment of Tamashii items in, I just got three emails in a row for items in stock at BBTS. Figuarts Falcon, Mr. Satan, and The Wasp. And with that, all three are on the way, plus the new Lego Flinstones house, I'm excited for some new toys.
  20. Indeed. I believe the term most fans use is legends+, unless that is referring to something else, I'm still too new to legends collecting to be sure. Yeah the lack of an official, or widely accepted jumping off point for scale makes legends collecting a bit wishy washy, it's more about what makes sense to you personally, head cannon and logic factored in as well.
  21. Too stylized for me personally, he looks like a really good legends Megs, just not for me. MFT Megatron scales pretty perfectly IMO with Hot Soldiers Prime, which is my legends scale Prime. That's also why I'm a fan of MFT, DX9 stuff is usually too small IMO, but the sculpts are usually there, MFT scales them up to pretty much right where I like them.
  22. Got another third party Transformers G1 legends scale figure in, none other then Megatron, leader of the cute little legends scale Decepticons!
  23. Got my MFT legends, er, uh legends+ I guess, technically, G1 Megatron in. I love it, it's a fun and beautiful little figure, this is the newest shiny silver version, plus it's the newest model with the little KO MP-36 faces instead of the head and faces DX9 usually used. Not flawless, unfortunately it seems to have the same issue MP-36 had, I scratched the poor, beautiful little face during transformation, there's just not enough clearance. He comes with a second maniacal laughing face, but after an hour of work I can't get the stock neutral face off, and I don't want to break it so I'm stuck with my little Megs having a scratch on his nose and the crest of his helmet :(.
  24. Yeah stock on the site has been weird, they go in and out of stock seemingly randomly, the four figure set, and the individuals. That said, even the set was just all four separate releases bundled, it wasn't an actual set like the huge SDCC version. Agreed on the re-release, NECA made money, even if scalpers seemed to buy up half the stock. As Thriceborn mentioned, these things were REALLY popular, NECA would be crazy to not do a re-release, I'd keep my eye open on Toyark.com if you're interested, they should have an update if there will be another run. Gamestop.com should also have a feature for getting reminders about stock on certain items, the site stock itself has been weird too, random individual figures are still popping back up in stock.
  25. They were definitely sold at retail inside actual Gamestop stores, for shits and giggles I called three around me before my set shipped just in case I got screwed, I tracked down Leo, Raph, and Donnie, no Mikey's anywhere. They actually released early in stores, before most online orders shipped. Yeah they're sold out on the site, you're only real option is to start calling actual Gamestop stores in your area and seeing if they have any stock, the Ebay prices are already absurd, $60 per turtle, $200 for a whole individual set.
