  1. I'd wager Colleen and Misty will get a Daughter's of the Dragon series, and ol' Danny will be folded into new seasons of Luke Cage. I could even see them changing the title to Heroes for Hire, just featuring both stars. Bummer IMO, Iron Fist season 2 was pretty fantastic, and a HUGE step up from season 1, I enjoyed season 2 more then season 2 of Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, or the entirety of Defenders. Oh well, can't wait to see the Man Without Fear take on Bullseye this Friday! Oh, and the return of Fisk...
  2. I don't get it? As if Bandai or Arcadia could do better? It's a Bayformer design, good luck doing any better. The alt modes are real, the bot modes are always a mess of parts and kibble, there's only so much that can be done. Undersides on Transformers are ALWAYS rough, even on Takara's MP line, look at the bottom of MP Sunstreaker, it's a mess, because it's a Transformer, and that's G1, an even more streamlined design than Bay's Blackout.
  3. So Jake Gyllenhaal is in fact, as rumored, playing Mysterio. Cool. I can dig that, he hasn't appeared in any previous film, I'm excited.
  4. Uh, he is done, that's not Ron. that's David Harbour, the new Hellboy, from Stranger Things.
  5. Yeah the DBZ Figuarts releases are getting more and more difficult to lock down, Bluefin is almost always how I end up even getting these newer releases. I think those reports of figures being made in smaller numbers is true, looking at HLJ, more and more of the DBZ and Star Wars stuff is being listed as one per customer, looking back, that trend really only started with Goku Black and Revenge of the Sith Anakin, which went up for pre-order when the rumors first popped up of smaller batches of figures being made. These aren't Metal Builds, or Chogokins, or anything super high end, these really shouldn't be that difficult to pre-order. I don't want to wake up and do pre-order madness for Figuarts, that's crazy. But I guess I missed out, so maybe I should? DBZ has been, and is still insanely popular, if these are being made in smaller quantities, that's stupid as all hell, I know early on the DBZ line was almost cancelled, I think future Trunks was nearly the last release, but that's not the case anymore, Super revitalized the series for a lot of people, same with FighterZ, there's zero reason they shouldn't be pumping these out in larger numbers then ANY other Figuarts line, even Marvel and DC live action, and Star Wars. Star Wars, Marvel, DC, they all have 1/12 alternatives, while Figure Rise does make some neat stuff, they just aren't totally comparable to a nice, finished figure. This line sells well for the most part, while there do appear to be a few shelf warmers, surprise surprise, all the popular releases are selling out nearly instantly. Does Bandai not want money? Why not make more figures? With the Bluefin shake up, I'm hoping things get a little better, we'll see.
  6. I'm seeing some complaints of leg looseness in Ginyu, but not much else as far as QC, some occasional paint mishaps here and there but my official figures are no better, it's hit and miss from figure to figure. I like him, I also got an Ebay coupon this morning for 15% off anything so I snagged a Ginyu, $47 shipped works for me. Most of the complaints I am seeing are about price, but it's third party so it is what is is, you either like and want the figure and will play ball or you don't and won't. For some reason I HIGHLY doubt we'll see a full Figuarts Ginyu Force, I could be wrong, but they were quite minor even if they have a dedicated little fan base. I could see maybe Ginyu, but even then I'd see him as an inevitable TWE release, the rest of the team? Probably too risky even if they tried to make each a TWE release.
  7. Damn I guess Demoniacal Fit is also doing Frieza Soldiers, in several colors no less! Ginyu seems mostly solid, I watched a few reviews and he's not perfect, but he looks pretty damn nice for their first whole figure. Jace looks like he's next, I always liked Jace. If these are in scale, how big will Recoome be? He should be the biggest figure among official and non-official DBZ Figuarts right? I mean, he was a beast, he should be bigger then Broly and Nappa.
  8. There's also Demoniacal Fit Super Saiyan Blue heads for 2.0 Vegeta and Super Saiyan Goku, I haven't ordered those myself but I've heard and seen good things about those as well. And if you're willing, a whole Ginyu Force is coming from Demoniacal Fit, Captain Ginyu is already released and is getting really solid reviews, I may bite. I know you do third party Transformers so I'd wager third party Figuarts Dragon Ball stuff could be something of interest as well. Tien is looking good! The top doesn't add much, literally, but it completes the look IMO, shirtless Tien was only on occasion. Yamcha is excellent, you'll dig him even more so when you get his short hair on, nothing wrong with the long hair Bandai did, but I prefer the short hair look for my Yamcha. I contemplated buying another due to my OCD wanting a long hair option as well, but I can't be dropping that kind of coin for such a small change.
  9. Damn I guess I got lucky yet again, I managed to nab one. Looked back not even five minutes later, and he's already on waiting list indeed, damn Mezco.
  10. Damn, I kind of like it and may need to pre-order one. Wolverine with a top knot works for me.
  11. You should look in to the Demoniacal Fit upgrade kit for this guy and Yamcha, I highly recommend it. Solid price, nice paint and plastic quality. Gives you a short hair option for Yamcha, and the green top for Tien. Easy installation, and fantastic results.
  12. Oh man, that will be sweet! Totally forgot about third parties. Depending on what, if anything, Hasbro/Takara have planned for these G1/Cybertronian designs, third party can step in and put out some badass looking figures. Depending on the film, they may have to get creative with alt modes, I'm not sure what Soundwave would turn into in this version, and Optimus and the rest turning into something resembling 80s Earth, human vehicles would be a bit odd.
  13. What the actual frakk? Who's bright idea was it to put actual Transformers in the live action Transformers movies :)? Man, those Cybertronian seekers look incredible in alt mode, plus Shockwave actually looks like Shockwave, as does Soundwave, and CONEHEADS! These designs are brilliant, and what we should have gotten for ALL of the live action movies, not totally plain and blocky like the original cartoon, they have that robotic "organic" look the films attempted to go for, while still actually being recognizable from character to character. But is this a soft retcon of sorts? We've seen the Cybertronian modes for a lot of Transformers before in previous films and they look nothing like this, Soundwave being probably the most jarring, his G1/Cybertronian mode looks almost nothing like his satellite and sports car modes from previous films.
  14. DOOKU IS HAPPENING! I REEEEEAAALY hoped this guy would eventually happen and not just get the silent cancellation treatment, exclusive or not, and he is, and he is an exclusive of course. Revenge of the Sith Obi-Wan and Dooku are on the way, mass release for Obi-Wan, Dooku is web exclusive. Either way, both will absolutely be mine.
  15. I gotta say, I think I like Better Call Saul as much as Breaking Bad, by the end of the series I could honestly end up liking Saul more. Don't get me wrong, BB was incredible, and a shining example that we are in fact in the golden age of TV, but Saul is stuck playing in a pocket but you honestly couldn't tell that based on the quality of each episode. At first like many I was hesitant, being a prequel it's hard to think there would be any real stakes, we know Jimmy ends up as Saul working for an old man in a pork pie hat and some dude with a penchant for the word "bitch", but the show is still constantly surprising me. Brilliant performances don't hurt, Kim is an incredible new character, and once again, knowing she isn't around for BB lends to Jimmy's character in a big way, on Saul we see she is a massive part of his life, but in a few years time she isn't around and Jimmy eventually goes full "criminal" attorney. Very sad, like knowing that Anakin will one day become Vader. Knowing where all the pieces land takes nothing away from each episode and plot line, even Mike, Hector, and Gustavo still deliver incredible, intense scenes. Even the current story line of building the super lab is immensely entertaining, we know the lab gets built, but seeing it is far more harrowing and entertaining then one would think. The performances really elevate the show, Jimmy's whole past with his brother was a doozy, his turn as Saul Goodman makes perfect sense, and you can't help but feel for the guy, which is EXACTLY how you should feel about a main character, even more impressive is that once again, we know where he ends up, but this in between is anything but filler, it's damn quality stuff. Speak of the devil I have a package on the way from BBTS with my ThreeZero/ThreeA 1/6 Saul Goodman figure, I've also got their Walt and Jesse, and the Walt and Jesse "lab" set. I REALLY hope we get more, the BB universe is incredible and filled with incredible characters, I think I may NEED a Mike and Gustavo, the two badass cartel brothers from Mexico would be cool too.
  16. Final Fantasy VII was already confirmed, I'm sure Ray Charles could have seen that one coming :). I too would like to know about Mature titles like Resident Evil II, I know the remake is on the way, but that PS1 classic is just that, a PS1 classic. Some form of classic fixed camera Capcom survival horror would be appreciated, hell, I'd take the HIGHLY underrated Dino Crisis 1 honestly.
  17. Toyark says something different... http://news.toyark.com/2018/09/13/sh-figuarts-iron-man-mark-50-and-nano-weapon-set-316337 This reads like it comes with another whole MK50 figure. I don't think anyone can really say definitively at this point, Bandai hasn't been very clear or forward about this figure/set.
  18. Funny enough I nailed my platinum trophy just last night. I stupidly blew a ton of challenge tokens on fully upgrading my gadgets, not knowing there wasn't a trophy for that, and then I didn't have enough to buy the last few costumes. I wrapped the costumes up and just had to high five a few people on the street and I was good to go. I ended up getting silver on the two challenges I had only gotten bronze on, then I redid all of the stealth challenges to gold, which was INCREDIBLY easy. Seriously, if you're hurting for challenge tokens, did you gold the stealth challenges yet? Getting gold nabs you three challenge tokens, I had silver on each stealth challenge, but then looked up some videos that pointed out the key to a high score is your combo meter. At first I was going around stealth choking guys and shooting occasional impact and trip mine webs, turns out, you should be using gadget web and not using stealth take downs AT ALL, just use the instant KO web zip punch. As soon as I stopped stealth take downs and started using the KO zip, I literally aced each stealth to gold in my first attempt, I earned 2 tokens over what I needed and got my platinum. The combo meter ends quick so the name of the game is webzip KO as many guys as fast as possible, which as I said, is really easy, just go for isolated guys, and if there are groups, trip mine one with time slowed mid air then webzip KO his buddy. It seems that's the spot you need to be to have enough challenge tokens for all the suits, silver on EVERY challenge, and gold on at least 8 of them, and if you haven't already, don't waste challenge tokens on upgrades. As I said, I highly recommend easily breaking the stealth challenges for gold, takes no time and is a cake walk. I already had gold on all bomb challenges, and several combat and one drone challenge. The most expensive suits are 6 tokens each, you get three for gold on most challenges, just two "upgraded" challenges are needed for a new suit. If stealth is already done I'd say try the bomb ones next if those aren't already gold, I only had to redo one to gold and it was pretty easy, only took me two attempts to upgrade from silver to gold.
  19. It's on! Officially out today, I'll start my binge tonight! I can't wait! Easily one of the best animated series ever, I need my season 5 fix, bad.
  20. She does indeed come with one of those nice Tamashii Marvel stands, I really liked those and planned on pairing her with one anyway, so the BBTS Bluefin set works for me. I'm undecided on the MK50 Nano version, it DOES come with another whole figure, plus the accessories. I don't know, I don't need another whole MK50 figure, I wish it was just an accessory pack. Doubt I'll bite, it'd be cool to have the extra optional pieces, but not for that asking price. Also GREAT SAIYAMAN LOOKS FANTASTIC! Holy crap Bandai! THIS is what I'm talking about, that's all the heads you could ever want for the character, nicely done! I'll gladly wait for the Bluefin release, this guy looks amazing!
  21. Damn so they are losing their Batman and Superman? That's 2/3 of the holy trinity. Recasting sounds like a terrible idea, these characters were just barely established with these actors, will they just stick to Wonder Woman now? Barring Aquaman and Shazam, Wonder Woman seems the only guaranteed winner they have in the pipeline, does the Flash solo movie even have a director yet? They went through 3 or 4 drop outs already.
  22. You would only get the pre-order content for a game purchased before release, if you got your digital after release you won't get content for that. But if you bought physical before release, from what I've read, you should have received a code via email, or if bought in a store instead of being shipped to you, a code printed onto the receipt itself. I pre-ordered the digital deluxe so all of my stuff was bundled together and downloaded at once. If you happen to have a physical code for the content you should be able to redeem it for whatever version you have, physical or digital there is no difference. The content itself is just tricky to find for some people, most that ordered a physical copy online were supposed to get codes emailed to them, but a lot of folks are reporting they haven't gotten codes yet, and if you bought physically in person, it should be on your receipt. Honestly though, the pre-ordered content is all basically early access. The costumes you get early can just be purchased in game with earned in game currency later, and the extra skill points are just that, some early skill points without leveling up, the max level is 50, I'm beyond 50+, the extra skill points were kind of a nice start, but you'll be rolling in skill points from leveling up naturally quickly and early enough.
  23. Just stay offline until you receive your copy, a-holes have seem to have made a game out of spoiling things in the story in articles not even remotely related to this game. I was browsing IGN, my fault I know, reading an article about Ozark season 2 and some random dipshit plopped a pretty large spoiler right in the comment section :(.
