I actually just bought another Ivanov off ebay about and hour ago for a friend, he saw that mine was fine but we'll see, it sucks that this is one of the riskiest valks to get because in my opinion it's one the best looking.

I actually just picked up an SV-51 Ivanov off of tisinc99.com, I'd never ordered from them before and got relatively equal positive and negative complaints, but they were here in the states and the total with shipping was only about $240. The figure itself, absolutely fine, like everyone else said it was never truly reissued, it's just a luck of the draw, granted it's a very expensive luck of the draw. Your call, I got lucky and have to say this thing is easily my favorite valk I own now, it's truly gorgeous next to the VF-0S.

I got a re-issue 0A about a month or so back, it's fine.

No problems what so ever, the only thing I'm wondering is if Bandai will release stand alone fast packs for our Hikaru 1J's as it seems most of the new releases may just come with them.

Those super/strike parts are looking WAY better, it's obvious now the 1S we all saw and loathed was a very early prototype.

I'm sure I'll get hate for this, but the VF-22, and the VE-1, they are both quite ugly. The VF-22 overall just looks fat and ugly to me, and the VE-1 has that retarded head.

SV-51 Ivanov, I love this guy. I got a good release, the black scheme and this birds lines make it look just brutal.

Personally I wouldn't get one, I think this specific model is ugly.

Damn I guess I could repaint one of these into TV colors, seeing as how I would do detail in the city part in the legs as it is. I should just wait for a TV release, but must, get, SDF-1, obviously the arms and legs are slightly different, but I'm not one to nerdgasm or rage over tiny details.

Damn, actually the more I see this thing, the more I want to wait until a TV version is released. I don't have surpluses of expendable dough laying around so I'll obviously only get one of these, I might as well hold out for the one I want.

I still buy 1/48's, many people do, many people aren't fulling into buying the 1/60 line after collecting the same figs in 1/48. I would be very interested in several sets if they became available, as it is I'm still looking for a 1/48 kakizaki and cannon fodder.

Any chance at some 1/48 goodness?

Damn!!! I had no idea this would get released this year, I just spent HUNDREDS on my new airsoft rifle, and now this sucker gets a release date. Oh well I guess I'm not eating for a while.

It's really tough to say, Yamato valks will always be hit and miss, I've gotten first releases that were fine, and supossedly new fixed releases that were crap. From what I have heard the newer 0A release with the updated box art is okay, as for 0S, it's been mixed, I'd say go for it.

I went ahead and ordered a VF-11B from evilbay, I don't remember hearing about any bad releases for this particular fig so I should be okay, I'm not much for the 11C's white scheme and that god awful pilot.

This guy's hilarious, idiot aside I love my TV VF-1S, I have armor packs on the way, him and the VF-1D look excellent together. I'm not much for the 1/60 line but the 1/48 is pretty much dead, so I might have to pick up a VF-11B next...

Ah my last say in the matter, I put nobody down, I gave no names, replied to nobody, I aimed at nobody in particular I just posted. And once again you put words in my mouth, I never said buying toys was a waste, I said buying several of the nearly identical figure was, and obviously I'm nobodies wife, or husband, or advisor, but since my comment was aimed at nobody it particular that point you tried to make was unnecessary. Obviously I buy macross figures as well, or I wouldn't have become a member and posted. -To VF-18S Hornet, good for you I'm sure the figs will look great, I personally would never buy several of the same fig, but if you're into that and can afford it go for it! Twas simply an opinion, some people, geez...

I really don't see how I was acting like an ass, I made a simple statement that I thought it was a waste to get practically the exact same figure twice, like I said it was a simple opinion, one that I guess was important enough for you to reply to and crush making you seem like an ass to me. You didn't voice an opinion, you twice now said I should respect others, people can obviously do what they want, the guy obviously has both figures, my opinion had no impact before I made it, what's the big deal? To be honest you're the one acting like an ass when I voiced a simple unimportant opinion, apparently it bothered you enough to reply and somehow try to suggest I don't respect others opinions.
