Just wanted to give an update, I got to see this last weekend at a pre-screening and it somehow managed to top the original. It had a much deeper story that I felt had elements from Infernal Affairs, there were some real stand out moments from the cast and Iko got to show off his acting chops quite a bit, and of course crazier more hard hitting action, particularly one insanely intense fight that takes place in prison. In short, there's a lot of good looking movies coming out soon, if you were a fan of the first you owe it to yourself to see this one in a theater, and if you haven't seen the first then watch it, then prepare to see the sequel in theaters.

I'm probably in for one depending on price.

John Wesley is actually cast in CW's The Flash, but nobody knows to what capacity his role will be. Myself and many other fans are speculating that it is going to be a sort of easter egg that plays into the shows mythos. It's possible Wesley was the original Flash (like he was in real life), the first human to tap into the Speed Force, possibly even a former member of the Justice Society of America, leaving room for Ollie, Barry, the Dark Knight, etc. to eventually create their own little team of super heroes. With the reveal that Harley Quinn is alive and well in Arrow's universe means a lot of things, the domino effect of comic book characters, if there's Harley there's Joker, if there's Joker then there's Batman, there's a ton of interesting possibilities for the shows future.

I'm wondering does anyone else watch this? I've been an avid comic fan for years and years, the Emerald Archer has always had a soft spot in my heart, I was a bit worried when this was initially announced, it gave me vibes that it could end up being as god-awful The Cape, I just didn't think a mainstream DC character could translate well to weekly television. Obviously we're in season 2 now and literally all my fears drowned away early on in season 1, season 2 has been downright phenomenal. Last weeks episode was obviously titled "Suicide Squad", which if you're familiar with DC, may sound familiar to you, along with a BIG cameo/easter egg appearance from one Clown Prince of crime's girlfriend, another well established member of the Suicide Squad. I believe Arrow has been doing a consistent job at adapting some big DC characters to the silver screen, this second season has been revealing more and more characters that are hinting at a much larger connected world, lots of different story threads going that I am familiar with, and yet I can't wait to actually see play out on TV. Arrow has been doing so well they even got to introduce Barry Allen, aka The Flash recently, who is now getting his own pilot and series that is set to air back to back with Arrow, making a two hour block of weekly DC goodnes.

Reviving a dead thread here, I recently made a big purchase of Kotobukiya Zoids models, I had heard nothing but good things about them, plus I got to see an Iron Kong and Gojulas in person at my buddies place so I decided I had to own some myself. I used to build lots of Gundam models, but stopped years ago and now just collect the occasional Robot Spirits or HCM Pro figure, so I was itching for some new high-end snap together models, these things hit that spot hard. Beautifully detailed, lots of articulation, and of course, those neat little painted pilot figures. So I love these guys, but I'm thinking they need an adversary, the obvious choice is Berserk Fury. After that, maybe Harry's team, or dip into the other series and get a Shield Liger and Geno Breaker. Either way, I'm pretty into these kits, if anyone else has some pics of recent builds or customs or anything, please post em if you got em.

I finally got into MonsterArts, I'm VERY happy I did. I missed out on, and wasn't willing to pay for the originally released Godzilla, I'm totally fine with Millennium G, and I of course heard very mixed things about Ghidorah, but he's my all time favorite Godzilla villain/occasional hero so I couldn't skip on him. The straight detail in the molds is astounding, pictures simply do not do this series justice, Big G and King G are both amazing, the detailed scales on these beasts are just gorgeous, everything looks so good. I may have to bust into my ye olde savings account and snatch me up a Destroyah and Rodan, I'm not particularly interested in Rodan for Rodan, I mean of course I don't mind adding him too, but I want his extra effect part for my Millennium G.

I got to make a really nice haul of goods almost a month and a half ago now due to a super sweet tax return, but unfortunately I didn't take pictures, suffices to say I got to make a second haul due to me selling off some odds here and there over the past month. I'm really, really excited, I haven't built a good model in quite a while, my fingers will be bleeding after this, but it's worth it, Blitz Team is officially in the hangar! -
So I finally unlocked then beat the X1 exclusive Raiden mission, it was truly a pain in the ass to unlock, and it was fairly short, but it was pretty damn fun none the less, it was a bit more action oriented than I would like, but it was Rising Raiden so I can understand it. I also alternately completed the side missions and found out there are actually different cut scenes based on how you complete the missions! That's kind of cool, in the end I found there to be a solid, lol, amount of gameplay for my money. Can anyone comment on the PS exclusive Pixel Snake mission?

Titanfall is fun in short bursts, I literally don't play any competitive FPS games besides some CS:GO from time to time, so I'm not burnt out on the genre, I just can't kill people match after match for very long. I've been destroying some Dark Souls 2, honestly, since the next-gen consoles came out I've gotten more enjoyment out of my 360 then anything else, between South Park and Dark Souls the old consoles got some decent love in March.- 6945 replies

Rorschach looks pretty badass, Watchmen is to this day my all time favorite comic book film ever made. My only hesitation is that we won't get any other Watchmen releases, I wouldn't want just a Rorschach, I'd need at least a Night Owl to go with him.

I pre-ordered a Koto Black Metal Gear Rex and a Metal Gear Ray. I've seen shots of both of models opened and all of there plastic racks and what-not spread out, Ray looks like he will be pretty clean without paint, so I'm just going to build him, and ditto with Black Rex, I hate painting with a fiery passion so I'm glad these two will still look pretty excellent just put together.

My daily driver is an ultra boring Ford F-150, but, my Sunday driver is my late grandfather's 1989 Dodge Shelby Dakota, I took these yesterday after my drive since it was a beautiful day in Vegas. Fairly limited edition, each one is numbered, I was given this instead of one of my 5 border-line retarded and pretty much worthless cousins. I searched the forums and didn't see a lot of Shelby action so I thought I'd post these, yes I would like a GT500 or Cobra, but this thing is damn nice and a lot of fun. It has a 5.2 liter V8, posi-traction rear-end, custom interior and lots of other goodies, with the fun upgrades like K&N and some other stuff I've added over the years, I'm currently spitting out 203hp, which aint bad for a little truck.

There's been mixed talk about a release date, Ground Zeroes itself doesn't give any specific date or anything, it just murders your mind and let's you know you won't see the rest until at least early 2015. That said, this article came out today: http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/03/17/metal-gear-solid-5-the-phantom-pain-may-release-early-2015

Oh yes I did indeed watched Black Sails as well, it had a pretty excellent first season, very gritty, I thought it was a refreshing take on pirates compared to all the Johnny Depp-ness we've gotten in the last decade. I can definitely agree Hannibal is depressing, and certainly difficult to watch, it is hands down the goriest show on television, blowing even Walking Dead out of the water by miles, but I'm a huge fan of the Red Dragon books as well, so Hannibal has been quite delectable...Back on topic, I am very pleased with the portrayals of Rosita, Eugene, and Abraham, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing all the old groups and the newbies get together, there's been enough different from the comic while introducing comic elements and characters that I need to stay tuned to see how or if some upcoming events will truly come to fruition.

Are we ever getting an updated Masterpiece Megatron? I have the original Takara released one, but it's a bit of a floppy mess, I'd definitely be in for a new, cleaner version.- 17322 replies

I'm glad the show finally had some real emotion last night, or at least something with some substance. This show has been insanely inconsistent for me for the past two seasons now, so many odd and questionable choices for characters and the direction of the plot. I think it's kind of funny the only episodes I found with substance to them were the ones that more closely adapted one of the comic's scenes or moments. This newest episode had some heavy influences from things that happened at the jail in the comic. I'm just finding it harder and harder to watch Walking Dead every week, I discovered Hannibal and Vikings, and both of those shows have blown me away, they are pretty amazing and yet have to struggle to get more seasons. When Walking Dead puts out an episode like the last one I feel we are actually getting the quality we should consistently be getting, but at this point it's like a drawn out anime, lots of cringe-worthy boring stuff in between the actual events that hit you hard and move the story forward. I can't help but feel all the behind the scenes stuff with show runners dropping out, and the reports of AMC being very nazi-ish about the schedule and shooting, has stunted the quality these past few seasons.

So those leaked images of posters and what-not from the past Toy Expos were real, those indeed were the designs. Am not impressed, I can understand Donnie carrying some extra gear on him, but everyone else kind of looks like they just strapped and slapped a bunch of garbage to themselves, because sewers you know, and called it a day.

Damn so I beat Ground Zeroes, I can say I'm disappointed as far as length goes, I now feel like I shouldn't have played it, because if I don't get my hands on MGSV in the next 24 hours I'm going to melt the polar ice capes causing mass floods and destruction.

I have a Figma Samus and Link, both highly recommended, so I went ahead and pre-ordered this guy and both sets at BBTS. At this point I'm hoping we get more Nintendo Figuarts and Figmas, my dream is to put together a totally sweet Smash Bros. diorama, I really want to get my hands on Mario alone to check the scale compared to the Figmas.

I picked up Ground Zeroes on X1 early...Can't say how...Alright whatever, mom and pop game stores get stuff in early all the time, I've been going to one here in Vegas for over a decade, I also got to pick up South Park Stick of Truth early. I'm biased towards the Metal Gear series, I think it's one of the greatest gaming series ever created, so naturally I'm loving GZ, the price tag got dropped for all versions a month back or so I believe so that may make your choice on picking it up easier, I'd certainly recommend it.

I loved this movie, for a lot reasons, I don't own any of the Neca figures because I heard, uh, mixed things to say the least. That said, my Neca 18" Gypsy Danger is on the way, I'm pretty excited, I'd like an in-scale kaiju to go with it too, but oh well. edited: Lol there is no 22" Gypsy Danger, I have the 18" on the way.

I recently saw this, it wasn't horrible, I certainly didn't think it was as good as the Fast and Furious franchise story or character wise, but it had some pretty badass stunts done with practical effects instead of CG fakery.

Everyone loves Queen right? One of the greatest voices in the history of rock, Freddie was incredible. This performance in particular is still heralded as one of the greatest, if not the greatest live rock performance in history.
