Thanks for the info, oh and by out of the box I meant with whatever decals it comes with applied, which after seeing the review on dalong's site means extensive decal work.

SO I'm not much for the VF-25 design, but I would really like to get a 1/72 RVF-25 model, I'm a sucker for a green valk. Now I've heard mixed to mostly bad things about the DX Chogokin line, that and I refuse to pay that much for a valk design I'm not a huge fan of, but I've heard these 1/72 kits are pretty nice so I just have a few questions. First off are they painted, and do they look decent built out of the box? I know they come unassembled but do they require glue or are they snap together? How durable are they, are the transformations easy enough? And I guess lastly what do you think of them overall and do you recommend, oh and if you could post some nice shots if you've got em.

NO! No more repaints of an already extensively milked mold, I want new models. That ugly VF-19 Kai is a start, but I want more new molds, where the hell is our VF-4, where's our VF-17?

Damn this kit is looking pretty good. I'm not the best painter but I could hand it off to my friend for that, I just know if I get it, within a month I'll see TV 1/3000 SDF-1 first shots!!! somewhere on this site.

I guess the battroid isn't too bad, and I love the fighter, but the gerwalk just bothers me, either way I'd be in for one.

I gotta say the 21 has a VERY ugly battroid and gerwalk mode, but I am likin the fighter, and it's probably gonna be a lot cheaper than wasting money on more yamato products. I'm pretty happy with the hi-metal line so far, except for my 1J's backpack, and as long as my DYRL 1A set is as nice as my Fokker 1S. this 21 could make a fine addition.

I ordered the hi-metal kaki,hikaru, and max 1A DYRL set a few months ago, I got an email about a week ago saying the release date would be 5/5/11. Other than this DYRL set I haven't heard anything else from this line.

Well it sounds like this ugly red mess will sell well, hopefully in the future we'll see some decent repaints!

I just got and put together my kotobukiya liger zero and wow, this thing is insanely awesome, I thought those crap models from back in the day when zoids first came to the states were good. I also pre-ordered my schneider armor from HLJ.

Well I already got a ROTF leader Optimus a few months ago, but I just couldn't resist it and got a new buster prime, I'll be selling my regular Optimus for cheap if anyone's interested.

I guess I'm a hater then, yea obviously he worked hard I'm not saying he didn't, it's just the blotches of light look like really bad glow in the dark paint. I think the sdf-1 would and does look a lot better in a traditional time-consuming repaint and wash, that bright green and orange-ish red doesn't look good at all.

Ugh that's very ugly, he didn't even paint the city, and all the glow in the dark stuff on the body looks like random flicks of cheap glow in the dark paint. The ARMD's and launch pad look awful, it almost looks like a gawdy glow in the dark after you hold under light happy meal toy, Kye's is miles and miles better.

Unfortunately nope, the 0S box didn't change for some reason though the 0A box did, you just gotta take your chances. I personaly think you should grab an 0S while you can find one, I don't see the Mac-0 line getting reissued any time soon.

It really depends, is the 0S an original or re-release? I've heard mostly good things about the re-releases, though I personaly got an original release and it's fine. As far as which one to go with, it seems the 0A is fairly easy to find, but the 0S is slowly creeping in price again, that and I overall like the 0S more than the 0A, if you've got the dough go for an 0S.

Why in the HELL does nobody carry the yamato ingram unit 2 anymore? I have unit 1, I built my 1/24 pit-road command car, I really don't want to turn to ebay, when did HLJ sell out on the unit 2? Did they even carry it? It seems like everyone has the unit 1 in stock even though it was the first release, I am sad.

I'm hoping we see a blazer, this fire valk scheme and head are probably the ugliest thing I've ever seen.

Exactly they were all exclusive so it really didn't matter which pre-order I canceled and which Pre-orders I kept, I just wanted to have a Kakizaki box for Kakizaki and Max box for Max, even though these guys will be TV in DYRL boxes.

I pre-ordered all the 1A's for the same price, I know the box art won't match any of it, I just thought I might as well make Max Max and Kakizaki Kakizaki. My pre-order has been locked in for weeks so I couldn't have changed it even if I wanted to anyway.

Well today I canceled my pre-order on my Hikaru VF-1A Hi-Metal, but kept Kakizaki and Max. I plan on repainting both to TV colors, I've already started repainting my 1S Roy to pure white TV colors, I'd rather have a TV vermilion squad, plus the Kakizaki comes with the sleeve so I can have all of my TV vermilion in one box for when I move after graduation. I really don't want to repaint these already beautiful figures, but damnit I can't just HOPE we get TV releases, I'll do it myself. And of course my three strike packs are still on pre-order, gotta give em all that super upgrade!

So has anyone completed their patrol car kits yet?
