  1. Any word on the stand that goes with the VF100 line?
  2. I could really care less about toynami's horrible veritech line no matter what they come out with, but I did see a 1/100 Glaug!
  3. So my Ozma VF100 VF-25S is on the way, I know how bad they are trust me Ive read and watched every review out there, but I really want a clean 1/100 VF-25 and Ozma's scheme is my favorite. I just want to know what kind of stand are you supposed to use for these guys? Is it a stage act 5 or what? Help would be appreciated, thanks guys.
  4. I seriously doubt they'd end up below $50, the Hi-Metal VF-1's are over $50, the 1S strike cost me about $70 shipped. I'd guess around the $60-80 mark or so, that sounds good to me to be honest, the DX line is expensive, and from what I'm hearing now they weren't quite up to snuff.
  5. Well I never got a dx VF-25 so I don't know any of the cons for it, all the reviews I have seen and read on them all say they're quality except bad gerwalk modes but I find the VF-25's gerwalk to be ugly anyway.
  6. Well I gave in and just ordered a VF100 VF-25s, I don't own any frontier stuff cause I'm not a huge fan, but I got this thing for dirt cheap off amazon. Come on Bandai, you have the rights to frontier and the Hi-Metal line is promising, what's the deal?
  7. I don't know why we'd need a bandai 1/60 dx version 2, from what I here the dx chogokin VF-25's were all pretty solid, I'd like to see a quality smaller and cheaper line of the frontier stuff. As far as Yamato goes, well if they ever do get the license, everyone runs the risk of getting Yamatoed, I really don't trust these guys any more and won't be buying ANY more of their products save for a TV SDF-1.
  8. That's what I'm saying, I don't like the frontier valks enough to go for the 1/60 DX, but I saw reviews and heard of how bad the VF100 line was. It had so much potential, it looked good when it was it's three forms, but the parts swapping was rediculous. A 1/100 Hi-metal frontier line would be awesome me thinks.
  9. If Bandai were to make a series of Hi-Metal VF-25's how many people would be in? I personaly don't like the frontier valks enough to drop the crazy amounts they ask for the 1/60 series, but Bandai does own the frontier license and their Hi-Metal series is pretty good quality, I think I'd end up getting a VF-25G,S, and F if they did decide to take this route.
  10. No it's the fact that people keep buying Yamatos crap even as they continuously raise the prices on things that probably shouldn't be that high to start with, oh that and they dance around the things fans REALLY want and instead give us repaints and and small meaningless tweaks of already released stuff. Do I feel obligated to get one,no, I too am waiting on a TV version,I still think it's dumb that they're doing though.
  11. Everyone got Yamato'd again, they never cease to amaze me, yet this thing will sell like snow cones in the summer. A kit? Really? And how much more than the standard 1/3000 sdf-1 will this be? Oh Yamato that's why I hate you so.
  12. I still don't understand the complaint about part swapping, the only thing that NEEDS to be swapped that doesn't on yamato valks is the heat shield. On yamatos you still have to swap the intakes out, and to be honest the hi-metal is less of a pain in the ass then yamatos tend to be.
  13. Blasphemy! We NEED VF-4!!!
  14. Okay so I can't find ANY reviews, out of box pics, anything on the command car kit, does anyone have any links? Is this kit snap together or is glue required? Is this gonna require paint or does it come molded in the correct colors and you just snap it together? I know the figures it comes with are painted but this thing came out a bit ago and there are no details on it, reviews, pics or anything, help would be appreciated guys.
  15. I prefer 1/48 better, there's nothing the 1/60 V2 does that the 1/48 doesn't, I like the bigger size of the 1/48. I'm not what some call a line art whore either, I don't flip out if this isn't here, or this is too big, or this is too long, I glance at it and what do I see, a big beautiful valk toy. We'll probably never achieve complete anime accuracy, would anyone expect different?
  16. A VF-0D would be badass. I personally love my SV-51, and I don't think the Nora sold well because well, the Nora scheme just wasn't that popular, Ivanov on the other hand sold out quick and nobody has it anymore, except ebay, for a steep price. I'm hoping for a VF-4 or a VF-0D, maybe a VF-2SS, but not a VF-17, I find that thing ugly.
  17. So does this thing transform? Or is it just a small model, if it doesn't transform what is the use of this thing even existing?
  18. I'm gonna have to say no, it's just a slightly altered 1J, Yamato needs to make something worth while, new designs that aren't out yet, a VF-4, or a VF-2SS, I really think they should consider more original stuff instead of the same thing over and over.
  19. Everyone uses toynami 1/100 decals, I had a couple in the past that broke but I never applied the decals so I used those for my Max and Hikaru 1J's, and my strike 1S.
  20. I got a low viz special or collectors of whatever edition, a cannon fodder 1A and 1J M&M's, they all broke within a week. I found them ugly, cheap, and very brittle, but that's just my take, I've heard others say their figures are fine, that and I don't know if the ones I had were even version 2 or not, I got them all at the same time. A lot of people like the cheap price, but I'd say from personal experience, PASS.
  21. Well I pre-ordered the whole squad and s/s parts, now I just have to play the LONG waiting game. Oh and I actually got 4 s/s parts, my Hikaru 1J needs the upgrade as well.
  22. 1/60 MONSTER!!!
  23. I may be interested in a 1/60 blazer valk, but this thing looks awful to me, the paint, the face, it all adds up.
  24. This is probably the ONLY mac frontier mech/vehicle I'd like to get, which sucks because it's exclusive and too damn expensive.
  25. If you have a Kakizaki DYRL 1A I'd say go for that, I think it's the best color scheme of any of the DYRL valks. Something about green on a valk just gets me.
