    Here's why I love the YF-21 so very much : its fighter mode is my favorite because of its incredible sleekness and delta shaped wing. And it manages to turn into a battroid which design is reminiscent of a duster coat with a hood which holsters a gunpod on each side, wild west style. The fact that it's a valk which feet are not the obvious main boosters also makes it stand out. And the red cyclops eye is the cherry on the cake, perfection

    wow, the first episode was really crazy, it made no sense at all and I LOVED it! It seems more like a vehicle for animation and design experiments though than a story based series but I'm expecting it to develop on this rich and colorful universe. It's not for the mainstream anime fans who expected something more like a Cowboy Bebop follow up I guess, but quite refreshing and interesting enough to keep watching.

    Thanks Tochiro! It is indeed a bit off from the original lineart but it's always fun and refreshing to see this kind of project, and these fan covers themselves have quite a bit more passion in them than the official crossover one too!

    Lol!!! Good one Loop I own all the zero valks as well but wouldn't recommend buying it to anyone right now, especially at that price... 33000yens! you could get the new YF-19 shipped to your door for that price.

    Watched this one last week. The villain sounded and acted like Taz, and the final brawl scene with the exo-armors was so dumb I couldn't believe it. But other than that this was quite an enjoyable action movie, I would't watch it again though. Lots of cool ideas just got lost along the way and it seems the film-makers chose the most crowd pleasing approach to this instead (that effin' moneymaking on the poor smuggler is finally a good guy, seriously??) Worth a watch tough, the visuals alone and the potential of a great movie were there, too bad it went sour. And the bad guys are french as usual...

    Hmm, I hope it doesn't suck. That trailer shows so little... it's disappointing but knowing that Mamoru Oshii is in the director's chair it should be at least worth checking

    You're right, it's definitely an attachment part! However it seems that bandai kept the same arm mold as fo Alto's YF-29 so it shoud still be possible to attach the gunpod in the same spot as previous releases. Maybe they just wanted this one to be more at the back in fighter mode or maybe the gunpod is just longer so they had to make this change. I'm not really a big fan of the YF-29 but since it's Isamu's version and its gunpod has a bayonet I still can't resist buying it. Looking at the pictures in kengiu's link I found that the canard can be swapped forward, which makes it look more like the YF-19, sweet!

    I don't have a 29 yet but I think the gunpod part of the video isn't a separate attachment piece you have to add, it's the same gunpod connector being deployed from behind the arms used for Michael's sniper gunpod.

    Thanks for answering my question guys! It's great to see that this piece also fits in all mode, I must admit I had doubts it would. Now this is really going to be an amazing piece in my collection, I can't wait for the April release!

    I just saw the unrated version and was mostly bored or facepalming for the whole 2:15 hours. The claw castration at the end was shocking and the following robot claw-stump-raping was just more than any Wolverine fan should be able to stomach. Thanks to James Mangold and the team of brilliant writers at the helm of this hundred millions dollar waste.

    A different taste? I hope it's not an SD version of a valk... a SDF-1 TV version or a VF-11 MAXL would be so nice, please Arcadia!

    I just checked my samples of both releases and the second one is indeed much darker than the first. The interior of the visor is painted has a reflective metallic coat and the green is clearer on the first release so that when the lighting is right you can clearly see it's green. On the second release the green is much darker, almost black

    SOrry to quote you on just this specific mention about manadarke which is otherwise a great ressource for second hand toys, but I have had a few bad experiences with them in the past and I thought it could be useful to let others know. I got a VF-19P for a great price (15K iirc) and it had a busted hip joint and a missing intake cover, none of these issues were mentioned in the listing. I'm not really bummed about it since the price kind of makes it up for the damage but still, I wish this was properly mentioned in their listing since it is a really obvious flaw on the toy. So, yes Mandarake is good, most of the time...

    I got one preordered at Big in Japan, they've got a 20% discount which lowers the price to 26000 yens, not bad really even if the shipping stings a bit it's still a 31000 total. At this price point I'm expecting nothing less but greatness on this YF-19 from Arcadia!

    Another great episode! I'm amazed at how they manage to consistently keep summoning such epicness into each episode. Every watch so far is rewarding and leaves me wanting more and the finale was no exception, it's a good, really good anime!
