    I've been trying to figure out where they took that pic. The joint reserve base is nowhere near that close to downtown, and they aren't ANY air strips that I know of that would give that angle of downtown. Lived here for 39 yrs.... Photochopped me thinks!

    That sux man! I had a white 2001 SS. It was a great car. Came from the factory without traction control for some reason...had some fun with it for sure! Still think that model was the best looking!

    White is terrible to have to paint with a brush no matter what you do in my experience. Have you tried Tamiya spray can white? They are very good.

    DONE! Bravo to John Moscato (aka Capt. America) for making a childhood dream come true with an absolutely astonishing kit. Parts separate out well for painting before assembly. No tricky assembly at all. It's a fun build. I hope I did it justice! Definitely not for beginners, or for someone who's never done a resin kit. ---- Sorry..but I was having fun with my camera and some good ole showdown pics! The good guys were outnumbered..but then they got backup!!!

    Simple answer.....DONT use acrylics for brush painting. It just doesn't work. Brush paint with enamels and never look back.

    Congrats on the VF-4. In my opinion one of Yamato's top 3 birds. The ONLY things wrong with it are that the nose gear doesn't lock into place (annoying) and the missiles pop off like crazy! (easy fix with a dot of glue)

    Yup, having built this kit a couple of years ago, I to was pleased with how well it came out, and you're right, the missile tip painting is the hardest part!
