    I had to remove mine off my VF-1D straight out of the box, the canopy coating was jacked up. All my others that came with it are still fine today. Little alcohol and a q-tip and a lot of scrubbing.

    $$$ being the first reason... LOL, the second being I will be starting my 1:500 Yamato kit at some point soon and would kind of like to build the model as I watch the new series

    Hey guys! Sorry, I'm WAY late to the AWESOMENESS that is 2199. How many volumes are out? I ordered the1st volume of "Star Blazers 2199" off Amazon after re-watching the original 2 series off Amazon streaming. I was totally blown away!!! I just now ordered the next two. At $50 each though --OUCH! Do the plan to do The Comet Empire series as well??? Sorry, I don't have time to dig through 75 pages of thread right now.

    I like 3 as a kind of stand alone flick. I don't really consider it a true FF flick, but it's a fun popcorn crank it up on the system kind of flick. .....better than 2 anyways...lol.

    Tamiya masking is absolutely the only way to go on most projects. I did try clear scotch not long ago where I had a situation where I needed to cut along a curved panel line so I could see what I was doing. Worked pretty well actually. No I haven't tried Mr. anything because it's impossible to get where I live. Guess I'll order some next time I do a mail order paint order.

    1st one was good, I actually thought 5 was the best one out of the lot. 6 was just tooooo over the top. As my GF was a huge Paul Walker fan, I'm sure I'll be watching 7 in the theater.

    Today's lesson at the paint bench.....apparently you can't decant and airbrush Tamiya Fine Surface Primer.... It didn't go well. Guess I'll just have to keep using it out of the can. Hard to do on complex shapes. Was hoping for an easy airbrush solution. Thoughts???

    I've got my fall colors all picked out...LOL. Going to go with the exact same decant and airbrush method I used on Mr. Blueberry crab...minus the horrible figuring out of different color ratios of blue paint to get the color I was after!

    I saw my one and only Phantom in front of a Hobby Lobby once and was absolutely astonished at the sheer size of the damn thing! I never had a clue it was THAT big! I kinda like the way the GT-R's look....and since it's the only super car I might soooomeday be able to afford...used...I'm gonna say I love it for that reason. Lol

    My boss saw a red MP-4 the other day in Dallas and sent me a pic. Not as pretty as the 458 IMHO, but I would love to drive one!
