  1. Gallardos are kind of abundant around north Dallas for some reason....I drove a 2008 Gallardo a few years back and wasn't impressed AT ALL. It felt like a tank. That being said, I also drove the original Audi R8, and umm...where do I sign??? . But I agree with you about the Gallardo being a bit "boring" compared to older Lambo's. I do however think the Aventador looks like a proper Lambo though....
  2. oooooohhh...this has me interested... however EXO.....I'm gonna be NEEDING my 1:48 Corg pilot soooon......
  3. That's pretty f'n cool!!!

  5. The painting of the tiny planes is the only part of this kit I'm soooooo not looking forward to!
  6. Are you referring to MM enamels not airbrushing well??? I've never had a problem with them. Been painting with them since the 80's. How are you thinning them? I love them for the fact I DONT have to hit parts multiple times to get a great finish, like you do with acrylics.
  7. 1:48. To match his previous two Inbit/Invid kits and hopefully his next couple as well.
  8. Mr. Moscato's latest creation has arrived...
  9. I like Model Master for airbrushing and paint brush stuff, but yeh..it is notoriously bad about drying out quick. Tamiya is better, I have zero idea who has Gunze in my part of the world. I'm limited to one good hobby shop an hour away and Hobby Lobby's.

  11. That is just ridiculously cool!!! You could sell tickets for "playtime"!
  12. I've tried Vellejo, and it sprays beautifully. I followed the directions in their website and thinned with distilled water, cleaned up with Windex. No problems for me. I have started stirring my paint cup every few minutes these days if I'm airbrushing for awhile. Seems to help, no matter what type of paint you are using.
  13. Tons of good info on this site. http://www.swannysmodels.com/Tools.html
  14. Airbrush paint thinning/mixing is THE hardest thing to do IMHO. It can drive you nuts, toooo thick --doesn't spray, toooo thin..runny, and there's several layers in between those two! However, once you get a PERFECT mix (I got one last Sunday on the Monster I'm building, you'll be smiling for days! It never gets easier to figure out though, (well it does---if you use enamels over horrid acrylics) , but that's a discussion for another day!
  15. Agreed. Hamill will shine in this. As for Ford and Fisher..well...only time will tell. He damn well better be more impressive than he was in Indy 4. That performance was lacking to say the lease IMHO
  16. Weekly Monster update pix! 3 out of 4 guns are as seamless as they're gonna get... Instructions only showed the left cylinder silver and washed with black, but I thought all 3 parts would look cool like that. I'll detail some more colors on the parts on down the road with pastel chalks.
