    Thanks B. I'm having a problem with getting the legs stiff enough at the hips so it doesn't fall backwards at this point, other than that, it's pretty cool. That was the easy one..LOL. Gotta get back to the "dumbass me thought I would modify the Capn's kit" one later on this week....

    Busy weekend around here! figures are done, and one purple thing is kinda sorta there....be gentle guys....this is the most complex resin kit I've attempted yet...not to mention doing two at once..LOL

    YES. The canon height is verrrry important. I tried to get fancy on my first kit and shorten the round arm that attaches the canon to the body in order to get them closer to the body. BIG mistake. I'm still paying for it, because I also glued the canons on before I should have. Long story short, DONT do this...LOL. Basically it makes it impossible to attach the shoulders correctly now. PM me for more details if you like.

    Yup...everything EXO said. Muuuust have badass cockpit and engine LED lights. Preferably navigation lights as well. And bring back the backpack antenna!!

    I say BRAVO JJ Abrams! Good casting, and actual SETS being built. I looked through all the pics on tmz and some of the creatures look to be really being built. I think this is going to be something special. He knows he can't please everyone obviously, but it looks as though he he is going old school, using CGI sparingly, as a tool and not a crutch, shooting on film, and not doing 3D. That alone will get me to spend my money and be there on opening day.

    I really enjoyed Stargate. Never got into the series, but always up for re-watching the movie from time to time. Pass on a remake...until I see a very good reason to go see it.

    This price doesn't surprise me at all. The sound booster was as much as a VF-1 when Yamatao first released it. I was shocked. Even more so when I bought it and found how over engineered it was in some places, yet poorly engineered where it really counted...the connection point in battroid. If you breathe on it wrong, it falls off. Not to mention it makes the whole figure VERY top heavy. You've been warned! I'll buy the band figures off anybody who doesn't want em!!!

    I emailed John, and he is actually doing the decals himself. He said give him about a week and email him back as his printer was out of ink and he was busy the next few days, but he would try to help us out next week!

    Thanks guys! So I got this in the mail today! Finally!! Scored it off eBay. This kit and I have a long history. I built one when I was about 12 in 1987 on spring break at my grandparents house, it didn't turn out great obviously. Just brush painted and glued together. I didn't care! I had an sdf-1 model to play with!!! I kept it for all these years until my mother finally threw it away out of my old room not even a month ago... it had broken pieces off of it but I still liked looking at it occasionally. Thanks Mom. I tried buying another kit about a year back on a Transformers forum, but the guy took my money and disappeared. Dick. Anywhoooo.... Now I have one complete with decals and the original instruction book, I can't wait to start!!!
