  1. Buy the old kits for the box art, cut the boxes apart, make a nice collage out of them, throw the kits in the trash and go buy newer kits. Old Macross kits are NOT what you wanna start out learning on. Trust me. Try the new Hasagawa1/72 Regult kit. It's a great kit to start out with for beginners!
  2. I really COULDN'T care less how much METAL the HI METAL R's have in them! They are great figures. Have you picked up the MONSTER?! Trust me, there's PLENTY of metal in that! People who complain about the name thing need to just STFU honestly.
  3. All decals done, detail painting done, clear coat down, now onto weathering....
  4. @Thom - just to clarify, it was fresh clean tap water, I don't dip decals anymore, I use an eyedropper to wet the decal on a paper towel, way easier! 😃
  5. when you're TRYING to do some early morning decaling on your day off....... 🤔 🙄 😂
  6. @sjoebarry - Which is really a crying shame honestly. The destroids and bad guy mechs are clear standouts in the line, the Elint Seeker and Ostrich were amazing along with the Macross II jet. The Valks themselves are just icing on the cake. I was hesitant at 1st, but SO glad I went like 90% in on HM-R.
  7. I'm definitely gonna panel line mine!
  8. Anybody heard from Anime-Export yet????
  9. THANKS @mantisfists!!! Now I'm SAD all over again!
  10. Arcadia should do this on a VF-1J 1/60. I would insta-buy!

  13. That GNU fig got a lot of things right honestly
  14. @sh9000 - Oh ok, I've seen that Han, but passed many times, the face is just....weird. The smaller figure looks so much better.! I'll prob pick up the 6" Vader in November. I don't know, he looks "off" somehow too....
  15. @sh9000 Ok, that ROTJ Han and Vader are pretty darn good looking! When can we expect 6 inch Black Series for both of those I wonder??!!
  16. Sunday funday update: Since feline #2 decided to knock off Enterprise B off my desk and pop off the nacelles part last night, (apparently I never glued that part in thankfully) I took the opportunity to rectify a 3 year old mistake that had been bothering me every time I looked at my 7 little Enterprises, so with the help of my small Tamiya razor saw, I sawed off the crooked engine pylones at the bend and put them back on straight! Whooo Hoo. Scotty would be proud! No more leaaaaning Ent B engines! Next I drilled out the port holes on the Texas and got the decks down and then played around and assembled a little of the superstructure. The decks were a bit of a pain to get down, but all in all, I must say, so far, Trumpeter has made a great kit. Then we had nuclear VEAPONS loading onto the Typhoon this afternoon! 😁
  17. @electric indigo That looks GREAT! Very nice finish as always! Canopy looks super shiny. I completely understand and empathize with you on working with PE.....
  18. Ohhhh deeeaaarry me...... what have I let my wife, brother in law and father in law talk me into here..... 🤔 🙄 😂
  19. LA Class USS Greeneville reporting in.....I haven't decided whether or not to "water weather" this one yet. I did one, so I might leave this one and the other LA Class "clean" Had to use the PE main prop on this one as my furry little helper kitty got a hold of the kit supplied plastic one and munched it to DEATH....😠
