  1. No - and I don't think I will if anyone does not say that the post I was quoting is inaccurate.
  2. I just posted over on another thread about the writing of that show matching the horrible writing on this show (years ago when I stopped watching it religiously to not at all). Is anyone still watching the show? No comments since a little over a year ago...
  3. Sounds like "The Walking Dead" writers were working on the show.
  4. Why not? It seems like they threw in everything else.
  5. I don't know if Arnold is 6'2" but Bill Paxton did learn that messing with a naked muscle man is not a good idea. So chalk one up to the Terminator movies.
  6. I've also heard from a lot of martial artists - don't go up against a person with a knife with your bare hands unless you absolutely have to. Movies are not reality and anyone thinking they can learn from them is seriously mistaken. Boys, Girls, Men, Women all included. To pick out any particular film these days where Superhero heroics are required even for James Bond (jumping around like Mario in Casino Royale for instance) is silly. EDIT - it is far more fun to pick out the ones that DON'T overdo it these days.
  7. OK, now I have to post GIFs...
  8. The only one I really liked from the original was "Family Dog".
  9. If that Iron Mask movie is a comedy it might be worth a rental - if it is supposed to be an action movie I'll pass.
  10. Like I said before - all the matters is what the suit (or Batmobile) looks like.
  11. My wife and I both loved Grand Budapest so I'm in.
  12. Same thing happened to Enterprise. The whole first season was supposed to be strictly on Earth with the Enterprise being finished at the end of the season. I'm not sure either show would have worked as originally conceived though. Voyager was trying to be what Galactica ended up being but that just didn't fit in Star Trek at the time - the reception for Discovery shows it still is not generally accepted.
  13. That is a a perfect summation of what went wrong with 2202.
  14. I find the two seem to go together for often then not.
  15. I wrote this a couple years ago but it is still true so... "It is hard to keep track of the Live Action Robotech "Directors" a they go by"
  16. I forgot all about Black Sheep Squadron. Now that you mention it I do remember him in that as well.
  17. https://www.cnn.com/2020/02/08/entertainment/robert-conrad-obit-trnd/index.html I really liked "The Wild Wild West". Though it is the only character I remember him as.
  18. Queue up that conversation between Kirk and Spock in "The Voyage Home"...
  19. I don't see the writer having any listing with 2199, only 2202. That makes me nervous.
  20. > The Mars forces defeat the Invid by blasting Crab Rave at them and they all start dancing. There were two great versions of this already. Zoidberg doing the dance of peace and kinda sorta related this video of a crab with a knife. So don't knock it without seeing how it goes (and then most likely knock it...) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WXRN1thFr8
  21. Drifting Dragons has a "Valley of the Wind" asthetic (or at least look). Hopefully that one is good.
