    Shame it's not doing so well. It's a good movie. Although, if this is mostly accurate, I think I would have liked this a lot better! I hope Gunn creates a universe better than the old one, because that looked damn promising!

    Or, just trying to be humorous rather than thinking everything has to be a deep dive into a simple movie. Which was a good movie, though your miles may vary. Like it or not, it's not the end of the world.

    Well, from someone who really liked Into the Spiderverse despite it being Part 1, I think that the Flash is really good movie. It was fun and exciting, esp seeing Keaton as Batman again, and Miller did great playing off of himself. And where it mattered it didn't pull any punches. There are somethings I wish had been done differently, but those are commented on further up the page.

    I will say that season 2 was alright, probably more because Mount was on it. It also had a weighty ending where the crew was making a big sacrifice, and they didn't pull the rug out like they did with season 3.

    This is from the Variety article... The cancellation of “Star Trek: Prodigy,” the first* animated kids show in the “Star Trek” universe, comes despite the fact that the show was renewed for a second season back in 2021. According to an individual with knowledge of the situation, although the show had aired on Nickelodeon in addition to Paramount+, it will not be returning to Nickelodeon either. Those on the show will complete post-production on Season 2 and then CBS Studios will be free to shop it to other outlets. So, it's possible we can still see the second season if it's picked up by another 'network.' But, Bejebus! They keep cancelling the shows I like. And what's with cancelling it if it is already that close to completion. Just air the dang thing without going through all these hoops!

    So I would day that Season 2 Episode 2 was the season premier that we were needing! In a complete 180 from last week, this was an outstanding episode! No space battle or phaser fights, just a straight drama that was extremely well written and acted. And the resolution is believable rather than some writer pulling a sneak-move at the end. This is the caliber I've come to expect from this show and I'm really hoping S2 E1 was just as light stumble before the sprint!

    No. There is some dialogue alluding to the events of Disco S3 but nothing you have to watch that for.

    I loved the closer attention to Gwanda and her arc through the movie. Your take feels spot on @kajnrig. I think it would be great for her to get her own movie, preferably live action.

    Man, I gave up on this after seeing the trailer for the first movie!

    Same here. Though I really enjoyed The Flash, it was a bummer with Oh well. I enjoyed it. It had a lot of good action a plenty of comedic moments between Barry and... Barry. You just have to keep in mind that this is a Flash movie and not a Batman or Supergirl movie.

    What was wrong with the Flash?! that was a really good movie. And TLJ, that failed because there was no cohesive plot and it turned our hero into a grumpy old man who wasn't funny and died like a fart in the wind. And Aquaman 2 already failed?! Dang, where the hell have I been! As for Kraven, if they want me to watch, get a better idea than a guy being bit by a lion and suddenly be Landman, Aquaman's land-based bro from another mo.
