Nice! I'm in the minority in that I did like 1984 a whole lot, and am certainly hopeful that Gadot's WW can continue on the big screen.

I'm odd-guy out and thought it was (without shame) pretty good! I had fun watching this movie. The only problem I had was that Batman and Supergirl were killed in the end. Repeatedly. It could have been saved with the original ending but they didn't do that either. h well...

'Pee-wee Herman' actor Paul Reubens dead at 70
Thom replied to pengbuzz's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I still watch that movie. Despite a name like Pee-Wee, Reubens had a really big impact, and all for the better. Hope he's having a blast on Reuben's Great Adventure! -

I don't have any truck in this, but there is then clearly a disconnect between the text and the diagram. Counting the missile pack example, that is total of 20 in a pack, with 16 packs. that does equal 320. The text however, states only 90. So the answer is clearly a distortion within the Anime Layer between reality and 'toon... -
If they ever did a sequel, I'd want to have Rachel Weisz back in it as well.

Not for every movie or show in production, and that doesn't take into account rewrites during shooting that the writer's are under contract to perform and supply. And yes, perhaps one show is getting wrapped up, but being part of a Union means that when the other guy in your Union strikes, you strike too, whether the show you are on is done or not.

What a great mascot @derex3592! And your sub is looking real good. In a couple of shot there, it looks like it is floating above the mat!

That sub is really looking good @derex3592.

Glad to hear things are finally getting better for you! You've always hung in there like a champ, Mr. 'buzz. We've seen your imagination funded by dreams and pocket change, so it'll be great to see what you come up with now.

Never heard of him. What does he say?

I also hope not. As seen in Legacy, a program can come into the real world, but I doubt they would keep their super human abilities. At least not without a lot of suspension of belief. Plus, this has been done before. The movie was called Virtuosity. Plus, plus, this wouldn't feel like a Tron movie (to me) if we don't go into the computer.

A couple examples of justification could be the species designing said craft. Humans mostly prefer horizontal, but an alien may prefer vertical, even if horizonal is easier to land. The reason for walkers over hover transports could be combat durability. One good hit on the anti-grav and its down - but then one good length of rope... For troopers not having shields, or armor that doesn't seem to protect anyone, that could be intended casualties. These are clone troops so they are easy to replace, they are highly (I would assume) indoctrinated (i.e. brainwashed) and keeping attrition rates artificially high would make them more likely to see threats where they don't exist and thus be more alert, and more likely to respond aggressively. But, as said, these are just fan'splaining.😜

Sounds like this is taking place on Earth. set some 70 years from now. And, of course, with androids. And he def looks a little older here.

I'm pretty sure it's in the way it flies. It'll probably grow on me. The Razor Crest though, I liked that one from the first.
