  1. @electric indigo You'll be a Stencil Wizard!
  2. That's a Broadway play!? Those are some terrible costumes!
  3. The thing is though, base price of the kit aside, it's the shipping that kills the most. At least another $20 just to get it to me, which with tax could put this close to $90! This ain't the Enterprise-D!!
  4. Nice!! I'd really love to get her strapped with a Fast Pack like in the series though.
  5. That is pretty cool. Now I just need Bandai/Hasegawa/Wave to do one in 1/72! That VF-1Z is pretty dang kewl!!
  6. Damn, it does have a different canopy! Freck! Bye bye money...
  7. That is a really neat recombination!
  8. For that much money, I'll probably just paint one of mine blue... Maybe if it came with super packs that would explain the cost. The original release is still about nine bucks cheaper. Wow.
  9. Finally watched the second (and last) season of Carnival Row. Very well done and certainly packs a lot into ten episodes. Actually a shame there won't be a third, but that they wrapped up all the major story lines means that the viewer is not left hanging. I'm looking at you Warrior Nun!
  10. Just saw it today and it hit all three. Hallie Bailey was very good and more than capable for the songs, and I liked the guy they got to play Eric. And Sebastian, Flounder and Scuttle were still good as comic relief and allies against Ursula. See Mulan? It can be done! It stayed pretty close to the original animated though... All in all, I think well done Disney. Two out of three ain't bad. Now do Frozen!😁
  11. @MechTech What is it? Looks cool regardless!
  12. @Urashiman Did the wash eat into the paint? I think I've heard of that happening with some washes. For an alternative, have you used or tried clay-based washes like Flory or ProModeller?
  13. @Urashiman Sorry to hear about the wash-debacle. Hopefully it is recoverable without too much headache. On the other hand, the Tomcat is looking great!
  14. I may have to avoid this thread now as much a I avoid social media!
  15. Again, it was disjointed in the beginning but I felt it really hit a stride in the last few episodes. Shame it won't be allowed to mature.
  16. RIP for a true LEGEND!
  17. Yeah, I ignore all of that. I'll watch the trailers, just enough not to be spoiled by too much but that's usually it until I see it for myself. And really not even after. There have been videos pointing out the supposed flaws of movies I've liked that I've ignored simply because I want to keep enjoying a movie for what it is, just entertainment. One of the things reviews do, both good and bad, is to set preconceived notions. And if a reviewer is set upon showing all the bad* parts then that could be what people end up focusing on the most rather than just sitting in a chair and enjoying the show. Or just not going. But that's just my opinion. *bad could be anything from writing to acting.
  18. @pengbuzz 'The gravitas of being Indy.' That's great! You know, I really don't listen their opinions. Usually, what they like, I don't, and what I like, they don't. And I think far too many of them are listened to far more than they should be.
  19. Too right! That was great. Love seeing the parts going where they are supposed to go logically.
  20. If it plays well and is a fun movie, hearkening to those things that make Indy 'Indy,' then I'll be happy. And if this is a stepping stone to a hand off' to a new adventurer, then that would be great too. I did like the Crystal Skull and was a bit disappointed that they didn't continue it with LeBeouf - although seeing how he imploded it may not have been a bad thing after all...
