  1. Why make these just as exclusives and exclude the rest of us!?
  2. That's already a pretty cool looking display. Good idea with the base.
  3. Totally agree! It is a great design and a really well done model. Great work!
  4. If you're lucky they'll be two in one box. I bought one in middle school but there was only one, but there was another kid though who bought a kit and there were two in it! I was jealous, I'm not afraid to say. Then about a year or so ago, I bought one off of eBay and, YES, there were two in it! Missing a few parts, but I still have the remnants of my first kit, so win! Figure when I (ever) get to building the Hase movie version having those old kits will come in handy for references!
  5. Great look bird for Myria! She'll take the keys now please. Looking good! Your work or someone elses, sure to be little gems when you're done with them!
  6. That was super cool! A little jumpy but they were working with a lot of unrelated material. I actually started to feel like they missed doing something like this a lot earlier. I love the cameo at the end the best though! Really hoping we get SG in a movie soon.
  7. Very cool! Will be neat to see it being printed out. Work will slow a little on mine, as there is a Trek Wars Contest on at SSM. Considering the size, you could probably do the same thing. Or just use adhesive backed paper cut to shape and stuck on. Quite the convincing little model. Hope the little Padewan likes it! Looks like the resurrection of some Klingon ships is well under way. That's going to (already is) look pretty dang good when it's all put together.
  8. Work continues on UNCF Nautilus. Lengthening the hull and beefing up the under hull scoop. Also going to move it back about a 1/4 inch.
  9. 1/1 cat kit! Very nice. The fur looks good, but the eyes... WOW. Just the right blend of Overlord-level of haughtiness with the paint. That's the cat's box now. Possession has been staked. You can see it in the eyes. Those bolts are phenomenal! Great work there!
  10. Really liking that. Great tone that I hope they keep.
  11. IMO, the invisible jet is pretty lame. But then I just remember the cartoon with her flying around in an outline of a plane. If they did something like the stealth system on the Shield helicarrier that would be different.
  12. A new Refit model the same size as the new DiscoEnterprise would be awesome!, The old 1/600 TOS is close, and having a new Refit in the same size range to sit down the line would look great on a shelf.
  13. Damn cool art work! That second one is baddass!
  14. Nice! Is that a full kit or did you 'bash it a little?
  15. I'll have to give it a look on my next day off. I did watch and finished the first season of Amazon's Absentia, with Stana Katic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebZleBP_ab4 Just started season 2 of 3. Though the character is not the same, she plays a more hardcore 'Kate Beckett' in this one, which is not a bad thing. Very good over all. (dang, forgot how to imbed a vid...)
  16. I'm assuming that unless you could snap a missile or two off just after the maneuver, that's probably more of a dogfight reset? Break the ongoing scenario (of you losing), have the fighters 'return to their corners' and come back in again.
  17. I sure hope you display that with some Before pics right beside it.
  18. Yeah, but that's because its final season sucked. The previous ones were groundbreaking, but the show runners abandoned it and rushed through the ending.
  19. They do have a knack for picking just the right song for the scenes.
  20. Actually, I'm not. All society is a thin veneer that sits on a shaky foundation that we blithely ignore, and even put absolute faith into. I highly doubt a future civilization would be any different, the Federation included. It is good while it is there though, and yes something to point to and strive for, even as we forget how fragile it is. What we are seeing is the cracks that have been forming for while, most likely do to stress because of the constant strain the Federation has been under, culminating with the attack on Mars. Though, however heavy-handed it is, the arrival of Starfleet at the end shows that there is still a chance for a resurgence of the Federation we remember well from TOS and TNG.
  21. And yet it is present. Something easily pointed to, even at a distance. To use an old quote, 'a shining city on a hill.' They have the luxury of it being there and so can afford the effort to spread that high ideal.
  22. It is an outstanding bit of work there, good sir! As for the ill-fit, thin styrene wedged into there will probably be your best, easiest, fix. Arbit, you bring that scene to life! The only way it could have been better, is if the vending machine was circling like a predator for the kid's attention! And some top-notch work on that gun! Howie Gee Wizz! And it fires, right?!
  23. Chaos, of course, being Earth's moon and a virtual paradise that 'Adam' and 'Eve,' (that being the newly born male and I think the younger of the women on the ship) escape from when the surface is destroyed. They escape to Earth, while the Solnoids and Paranoids apparently wipe each other out. I never did like that ending...
