  1. Now bring on the 1/72 Glaug!!
  2. @derex3592 I love the painted deck. Very nice work.
  3. Great looking additions @MechTech
  4. Midway was lots better than Pearl Harbor. Pearl Harbor was all about BAAAM and KABLAAAM and sappy triangle and HERO SHOTS!! Midway may have cut some bits out, but at least it took its drama seriously.
  5. HaHa!! That never once occured to me! 🤣 Thanks.
  6. That is one fantastic looking Daedalus!! He did a lot of work, just wish he'd also made some decals. But awesome, altogether!
  7. @MechTech Thanks! It's Academy's newer 1/72 F-14A. Said to have all the parts for all variants, but the seats were missing some for the D-variant, so I raided a Revell Hornet and mashed them together with some blank styrene.
  8. Most of the assembly is done on my F-4J. It was going to be Showtime 100, but some hiccups in construction made me alter that. Also got the Finemolds F-4J kit and it has markings for the Freelancers, so I'll be trading those out and saving Showtime 100 for another build. As it sits now. And since I'm doing this in a GB that I'm going to miss the deadline on, I'm going to shift it to the side and go back to the F-14 GB and get it to the same level of construction before painting both. Here's the progress so far on the Tomcat. Modelling on!
  9. 'Wild' my brown-stained tuchus! That was quite the spin!
  10. Agree! Great looking console @arbit 1/144 scale, or is that still too big? Probably save space if you just do the floor and the 'back' wall.
  11. @pengbuzz Nice save at the 2021 Buzzer! Just proves you can't keep a good modeller down! @Urashiman Looking good! Now I can't wait to see the finish.
  12. A very enjoyable movie! It has the character dynamics down pretty good and at points their interactions were more of a draw than the story itself. Phoebe's corny jokes had be laughing. Of course there was plenty of nostalgia to get an old guy like me grinning. It did lean on that nostalgia a little too much, IMO, but not in too bad of a way. I did note that I didn't really hear any reference to Ghostbusters 2. There was a scene where Ray is telling what happened to the team and all the references were to the first movie, like the second hadn't happened. I wonder if Ghostbusters 2 is even canon anymore..? Anyway, the effects were great and I have to say hearing the proton pack being flicked on just brought me right back to the elevator scene. Love that sound. And seeing Ecto-1 turning and burning like a hot rod was awesome! The iffy... But iffies aside, I had fun watching it and that's all that really matters. I'd go and watch it again. Definitely a movie being put on the shelf.😀
  13. imagine that in all-over chrome, like the cars and helicopters in the Host.
  14. @Urashiman gREAT PROGRESS SO FAR ON THE REPAIRS!
  15. Wow! Extremely interesting! I see some new boxings coming out soon.
  16. @MechTech I say photo-BOMB all you want!
  17. Thanks @MechTech! All thanks to the PE! And that PPP comes in real handy, esp when I want a less labor intensive/panel-line damaging solution to a seam.
  18. @electric indigo That does look pretty cool! I'd buy it and build just the top half as a straight space ship.
