  1. It's also close to the water and there is a visible mist in the distance. Perhaps some slight contrails off the wing tips..? And I mean almost invisible.
  2. This worked good with the last site! So I typed Wahwah model shop into the search window here and didn't get anything. So my question to the MWF community is if anyone has bought from them and if they are reputable? https://www.wahwahmodelshop.com/ Thanks again! Thom
  3. Frontier would be my first choice. They have a whole planet now to colonize and build upon, they have the VF-25, and Sheryl and Ranka. Second choice would be Megaroad-1 if (as stated above) just to know what the hell happened. Although, my luck it would be to find out that they all (me included now) died...
  4. Yeah, that game-inspired concert scene being just dropped in there really took me out of the 'moment.' They reused so much footage from the series, nicely altering backgrounds to fit the movie, that I think they could have either polished it up or made a band new scene. Esp with it being Freyja's debut I didn't get any feelings from the character such as nervousness or success. It really was just a 2D CG scene. Really disappointed there. As for the 'triangle' there was very much a lack of one in Passionate Walkure, which I appreciated. Though I could always go for more Mirage, focusing on just the two characters made the love-arc tighter and definitely fitted better for a movie version. (Though I will say that Frontier's False Songstress did pull it off pretty good.) Overall, I liked it. Still not as good as Frontier, but enjoyable.
  5. Anyone could buy those for their shelves, but only yours will look as good as that!
  6. Very cool, Arbit! You've reached 'Teen-dream Status' among your fellow modelers!
  7. Well, that decides that! Shame too, because that would have been a nice price! I will steer well clear. Much thanks, fellas!
  8. https://www.wahwahmodelshop.com/ https://www.jpfigures.com/ Has anyone ever bought from here, and if so how good are they? They are showing good prices with absurdly low shipping from Japan. Thanks, Thom.
  9. Some great paint jobs on here! Looking Super!
  10. No love triangle! I don't know about anyone else, but I hope the next series has just a straight-on love story to go along with the main plot, with two people you know are going to get together at the end, despite all their troubles. Watching Frontier again and finally finishing Delta, I've come to the realization that, for me, the most fulfilling romances on any of the shows have been with the background characters! Max and Miria. Roy and Claudia. Ozma and Cathy. Luca and Nananse. Michael and Klan. Reina and Makina. They have their bumps and dramas, but I've liked their stories more because there is no 'will he choose her or her?' kind of dynamic. Plus, there is a fifty-fifty chance of not liking the outcome, as so far I am 1 for 3 between original Macross, Frontier and Delta. Or perhaps flip it around and have three of the secondary characters in a triangle? I know it's a staple of a Macross story, but still I can dream.
  11. Okay, I think I am the last person to this party! I was watching the series when it first came out, but ended up not finishing it near the latter half. Now (what 4 years later!?) I finally sat down and watched it on youtube. And that's because I started watching the old Frontier episodes. Old?! Frontier is now twelve years old!!?! A youtuber mentioned watching it when he was six, and I now feel so damn old! Overall impression, it was good. But it could have been better. From the first episode, there was a far lighter feeling in comparison to Frontier. Frontier was heavy from the moment it started. It just had more of a feeling of weight to it. Delta came off as more of a teeny-bopper anime, which in some ways is fitting seeing how the main cast are teenagers. But then again, so were the main cast of Frontier, and the maturity of the characters didn't come in until far later. I liked Windemere and their connections to the Protoculture. I think other than Zero, this was the deepest we delved into their mythos, and I liked that Mikuma was in essence a Protculture Priestess. I wish they had tapped that sooner. And the show did have its share of likable characters with their own intricate little plots. I loved Reina! And really wished Mirage had far more of a part in the whole thing. But that may be because I was hoping she and Hayate would end up together... But where it let me down most was the ending. The final battle was just suddenly there and happening, and though I liked the tug of war and Heinz ordering his Knights to fight with Xaos in order to save the galaxy, it was just too 'Frontier.' Roid was Grace O'Connor. Mikuma was Ranka Lee, including a super-sized hologram. The main objective was to create a fold network, merging all of the human race into one mind with Grace - I mean - Windermere in overall control... It was a recycled plot which was its worse failing. The songs also weren't that memorable. There are a few that stand-out, but only a few, and that might be because there were so many singers. and not many of the songs felt personalized. I definitely prefer single singers rather than a group format. Not bad overall, but not a worthy successor to Frontier or the OG Macross. I'll have to set aside some time to watch the movies.
  12. Ready for some fun times with the Free Guy!! And they have Steve!!
  13. Ugh! Mine is still awaiting completion!! Effed up the canopies, but at least I still have the bucks in case I ever decide to get back to it and press-mold replacements.
  14. I like it! The 'white fading' around the panels really stand out. Looks as good as the OS.
  15. Thanks! That's the USS Sprite, a Hopper class frigate. She also has the nacelles from the 1/2500 DiscoEnterprise, though her scale is now 1/1000. Still need to get her painted up, finally!
  16. Thanks MT. I may have to invest in a set.
  17. Leia's blaster is getting closer to being closed up. I cut some styrene to fit the open sections by the hammer. They are fine for a toy, but not right for a prop gun. Then the interior of the muzzle was painted flat black, since I opened the gas release port and put a greeblie in there. On the other half, some plumber's putty was pressed in like play-do for added weight. And a nut... A nut always needs to go in somewhere. There's a law... And back to the other side, with the muzzle weight, greeblie and puddy packed in. Doesn't look pretty, but when it's not going to be seen, it doesn't have to be!! Let that dry a little longer and I think I can get the halves back together tonight! Model on! Thom ...or now...
  18. Take your time. We are here and patient. Mostly...
  19. HA!! That may be a step too far! Awesome looking 25! Not my favorite weapons pack, but it's looking good.
