  2. Well it's been one of those things for me were it was engrained from my youth as I collected baseball cards and that's were the whole crazy started. The cards worth this but if it's graded it's worth double kinda thing. Scam yeah but back then it seemed a good thing. These grading company's are owned by billion dollar parent companies. It's all big money And backroom deals. Baseball cards, coins, toys.. they are trying to make everything unaffordable and rare by creating perceived scarcity. Sometimes I learn the hard way, sometimes I have to learn a few times to get it right. My only defense really is the last three years I've suffered unknowingly from radon poisoning and the lack of oxygen was starting to create brain damage. Fortunately I figured it out before it got to the point of dying from it. A Lot of choices I made during this time were from exhaustion and lack of sleep(radon displaces oxygen ) It was a mistake in sending those things in and for buying too much. Even today I had the chance to buy an extra something I've already have but rethought about maybe letting the other person have it, maybe it's been something they always wanted. I agree about you probably knowing more then the graders. I think they hire high schoolers to work there. They asked me several times in emails what I sent them was, how to know if it was complete and what made the variants different. Like my submission was a training program for them. Total shitshow I agree with you and you all will never hear me pushing it ever again. I had to rethink and relearn why and what I was collecting otherwise it's not fun to do. Graded sealed things are like that guy who has an amazing sports car kept in the garage but he never drives it, worried it might get dirty or a scratch but talks about it constantly like it's some religious idol or something. I just don't want to be that guy(anymore).
  3. The hand covers aren't yellow like this on the live sample. Stickers it is... And a total of one gunpod lol
  4. for those still interested... as of this posting @ amazon-jp: https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/dp/B0D2K888LM/ edit/update: seems already quickly gone again as of this edit..
  5. For me, Season 2 of Loki actually redeemed how the first season ended (wanted to puke after the trope-y hero versus antagonist with similar powers ending of Season 1). Wandavision, again same "hero versus villain with similar power" trope end, and hated how Wanda played a Karen with all those people's lives. But seriously, give me Colleen Wing and Misty Knight kicking butt and taking names. That could be a fun show!
  6. I've always had this opinion of graded anything. I don't need to pay someone to tell me how good or not good my toys, comics or whatever are. I've been collecting the stuff probably as long or longer than whoever's grading them so I know what I have. But, if people like collecting stuff that way, fine with me, just means ill never have those items in my collection and probably makes my, only touched by me versions even more rare and special. Plus, the 1/55 in particular being the greatest toy of all time is so much better when played with.
  7. Today
  8. Jubilee isn't a member of the Blue Team. What we actually need is an Iceman done correct with ice slides and effects parts.
  9. Season 2 of Iron Fist was definitely a major improvement. i liked Loki, but the gimmick was feeling very tired in the second season. Echo started with some potential, but it quickly fizzled, same with Ms Marvel. She hulk was a steaming pile of garbage that ended in a dumpster fire. Secret Invasion was pretty bad as well. Hawkeye was ok and so was Falcon and the winter soldier Moon Knight had its moments. And Scarlet Witch improved after the those first few really crappy episodes, but I feel like it got ruined by the Dr strange movie.
  10. Would that be Jubilee or Beast? Personally, I wouldn’t mind some more baddies or Nightcrawler
  11. Hiki chilling in the VF-1S:
  12. As usual, since Terry is the SS rep, he gets to an early unboxing and quick look at the figures before any of the general public gets their grubby paws on them when it gets officially released.
  13. And this is a problem, apparently. You know, when I smile, my upper teeth almost touch my bottom lip. In fact, when most people smile, their upper teeth almost tough their bottom lip. Considering all else wrong with the series, this seems bottom of the barrel, IMO.
  14. YES! Just one more and we've got the whole damn Blue Team complete.
  15. I still liked Season 2 of Iron Fist. I do wish Danny rocked the bandana more. But the show ended Season 2 in a very interesting place. Hell, give me Daughters of the Dragon! But Loki in total was solid. I actually liked Falcon and Winter Soldier. I thought Echo was fine and found Ms. Marvel passable. And I only liked the Kate Bishop/Yelena scenes from Hawkeye.
  16. Yeah, ditto for Cliffjumper. And I do like the brighter yellow on 86 Bee vs. the borderline orange on Netflix Bee. And I think it's worth remembering that Netflix Bee was a store exclusive, and there was a Bumblebee in the Target multipack, but this is technically the first mainline G1-esque Bumblebee since Titans Return. I just have three nitpicks with Bee- 1. The front end is too angular, kind of reminds me of Bumper as much as it does Bumblebee. 2. I wish the tires folded under his feet the way Netflix Bee does. 3. The dark windows. I just have this funny feeling that another version will come in a year or two, maybe as another store-exclusive, with blue windows. Guess you don't want to wait until I have one in-hand and do a review, since I don't have those Vietnamese factory connections. But I'll still hook ya up.
  17. It’s definitely weird when their best show is a cartoon that’s a sequel to a thirty year old children’s show. They really gotta try harder with their live action stuff. Netflix did far better with their shows and Disney’s live action shows even make Iron fist seem like a masterpiece
  18. Cool catch with that Magneto still. I thought it was pretty neat to see Spider-man TAS MJ, but then I realized it either means that either this takes place before the end of Spider-man TAS, or the X-Men '97 timeline skips ahead to when she's already found. Not a big deal, I guess, but sometimes it feels like it's asking a lot for these franchise to tell stories linearly.
  19. This bundling bit is "interesting". When cable companies ruled what was actually available at each home (sure there was satellite too for a while but most people had one or two choices for TV programming tops) the idea of bundling makes sense - the Cable Company monopoly made it possible. With the current internet there is no incentive for content providers to "make a deal" to get access to consumers since they already have it.
  20. I knew there was a name for it. Yeah exactly that.
