I enjoyed Space Adventure Hour. A few niggle would be that the holodeck looked and operated too similar to the later TNG depiction, even including the same means of failure. Otherwise, the acting of the cast in their alternate roles was real good and really enjoyed Welsey getting in-touch with his inner Shatner! Those paused line deliveries! And I am thankful that they put Romjin's hair back down! What where they trying to do with that bun-thing last episode..? We also saw that Ortegas was back at the helm, albight in an emergency situation, though I really hope her subpot is not being brushed under the rug already. She was taken off duty for a reason and Una declaring trust in her again was pretty quick. I really like that they tacked Last Frontier bloopers into the end. I actually consider this development a plus... I think you are right, there. Now, who is going to model the Adventure!?

The yellow is an inspired color choice, amazing how different of a feel it gives the plane to the other schemes you showed. Nice work!

And we love you for it. ๐ Considering that Sheryl puts SMS's services on her credit card for an extended battle with the Quarter and full air support, it's probably not quite to the level you're thinking, but you're not wrong that it's got to be expensive. I can imagine that factory satellites and the infinite resources of space make ammo and fuel less costly than today's equivalents, even if the equipment itself is ballooning to small nation GDP levels. It's still an insane level of capability in the hands of privateers, though. Wonder how many go pirate like the SMS or Battle Astrea? I keep picturing Amazon or Google with nukes and deciding that Apple needs to go away. ๐ -
Coming along. ๐ Whatโs up with that Chocobo!? We love Lego and video games over here. Itโs a family affair.

I remember the shooting model they used in the show couldn't support it's own weight and all the shots of it were done with it upside down.

Maybe they found it after all that moving they were doing

I finally secured a VF-0B from HLJ. the box looks a bit sun bleached, like it was sitting in a hobby store window for a while. maybe they found an old box in the storage or something hahahah.

That's crazy! I love it!

This custom build is made using 1/72 YF-24 parts by Seventh Moon combined with a Bandai RVF-25 kit. The Geometry Dash decals for the YF-24 Test Team and YF-EX were inspired by the Bandai YF-25 sheet and the Hasegawa VF-EX decals

Iโm very excited about the AMT Predaking but for that price Iโm expecting a high quality collectible from Takara. No bare plastic, no hollow feeling toys, no mushy paint apps, no shoddy construction in the joints that have marred other collector lines from Takara in the past (especially the Masterpiece/MPG line). From what Iโve seen in reviews of the AMT Rodimus the paint apps have not been the best so Iโm a little bit anxious about Predaking. I would have liked to experience the AMT line with a cheaper entry first but I have no desire to own Rodimus since I have the (imho) superior Kuro Kara Kuri one.- 17489 replies

Since we are comparing minimalist shipping... Hobby Genki by way of FedEx: Marginally better? There was a dent on the upper right corner of the shipping box, but it didn't transfer to the retail box. Amazon.jp has great prices, but their cardboard shipping boxes were thin the last 2 times I used them. Combined with DHL shipping, I received damaged retail boxes both times. Perhaps I was just unlucky.

I would honestly be incredibly surprised if they attempt any sort of interior on the ship at all. Anyone who has ever built a model of the Enterprise-D knows exactly how structurally challenging the saucer connection is, and with how many creative arrangements of angled tiles they're pulling off there, I really doubt there will be any room for anything but support framework. Would be happy to be proven wrong though. That is a really fun story though, and I actually had never made the connection to Bing Crosby. It's a shame they didn't want to do more with her in the show, but I'm glad they eventually pulled her back into the universe through some time shenanigans, and even further into the MMO continuity for Star Trek Online, leading to some of the most entertaining story bits I remember of that game.

On a lark, I did some research and the more I think about it the more I wonder how any PMC in the Macross setting can even afford to function. Modern PMCs have it pretty easy. Equipping infantry can be done fairly cheaply, with most nations spending between $5000 and $20,000 per head for basic infantry equipment like basic uniforms, PPE, firearms, and so on. That cost can balloon out to the low six figures if specialist equipment is involved, however. That's got to be peanuts compared to PMCs in Macross, where the standard soldier is a Valkyrie pilot operating a plane that's got to cost at least the equivalent of tens of millions of dollars. I guess that explains why every PMC so far seems to have spun off of a megacorporation that was doing business in other industries. They'd need a massive amount of seed capital to start a business like that. Even a used, two-generations-old Valkyrie is not exactly cheap by all indications. The VF-1 and replica VF-0 are apparently cheap enough that the hobbyist market can afford them, but Chelsea Scarlett blows her Vanquish League winnings for the entire 2058 season on three decommissioned VF-11s in order to cobble together just one working aircraft... and that's implied to be like Formula One-level prize money (potentially hundreds of millions of dollars), and it's still two generations old at that point. It's enough to make you wonder how much these PMCs are getting paid that they can afford this equipment, and how it compares to just having a regular New UN Forces unit funded using the same amount of cash. I'm sure I'm overthinking it massively, but that's what I do. I'm an engineer, I analyze things ruthlessly.
