  1. Past hour
  2. From the looks of it, it's going to be interesting...
  3. I don't share the what you pay for/what you get issue but I'm also done with Macross collecting for the most part. Barring Arcadia putting out the 5000 or Bandai finally getting on that SDFM Macross they teased.
  4. I'm still waiting to buy 3 5000's.
  5. You're fine with them- they just have to wait for the container to ship, then the shipment to get to them, then they can ship out. So they tend to be months behind the Japan releases. The reason many of us our getting ours now is because we ordered direct from Japan (but that means paying for the shipping instead of the lower shipping with BBTS). Granted, tariffs may kill that shipping now, since all of BBTS's stuff is way up in price now.
  6. Today
  7. If you're buying anything import from an American Shop you're going to be waiting between 1-3 months later than the overseas people. Their shipments are going to come in bulk by sea to keep costs as low as possible and that takes a lot longer to ship. It happens with all of them. USAGundam seems to have some special hookup because they'll get things from Japan faster but BBTS, Entertainment Earth, The Chosen Prime, etc... all have a fairly long lag time. My Tread's are from Amazon US and it's not scheduled to arrive until October.
  8. Valor is the current singer of Christian Death
  9. Kinda digging the color scheme.
  10. Show me the missiles bays?
  11. Never saw that in a theater. Might be worth a trip to IMAX.
  12. This one is definitely Capn Murica's Valk
  13. Understood. I just wanted to point out the hypocrisy of the situation when they prosecuted Una for what her race did, when some episodes later, they pull the same nonsense.
  14. Other things have been announced or teased that never actually came out. So I'll sleep easiest when the pre-orders pop up.
  15. Yesterday
  16. Got my Pixel 10 to upgrade from my three year old Pixel 7. Set-up was a breeze and the display in daylight outdoors is probably my favorite new feature so far. That being said, if it wasn't for my Pixel 7's dying battery I'd probably would have kept it one more year regardless of the free trade-in with Verizon. Yeah, I could have replaced my Pixel 7's battery with a new one but its too important for me to accidentally make it unusable.
  17. Looks absolutely gorgeous. Now where's the 25s? It does.
  18. They already showed the prototypes for 5 of the valk's heads. You can sleep easier now.
  19. IMO, Kirsh's "agenda" seems pretty obvious. He's pretty consistently depicted as the person most invested in the actual wellbeing and care of the Hybrids, whom he seems to regard as fellow Synths. He encourages them to be more Synth-like, but he's also shown encouraging them to take advantage of the freedoms they have that aren't afforded to normal Synths. He exhorts them to disregard fear as an animal weakness, but also encourages Wendy to make her own choices and provides her with ethical guidance and quietly encourages Tootles's desire to become a scientist and to choose a new name for himself to reflect his new direction in life. He is clearly aware that his employer is a reckless idiot, and does what he can to minimize the risks involved with Boy Cavalier's actions. He knows something is wrong with Slightly, and it seems likely that his goal is to resolve the matter quietly and without bringing it to the attention of his superiors who might punish or even destroy Slightly for having been manipulated into betraying Prodigy. There's no presumption of infallibility when it comes to Boy Cavalier. He's written as a fairly typical techbro douchebag. He believes he's a genius, but it's pretty clear in-series that he's just another rich idiot who failed upwards and likes to LARP as the next Nikola Tesla or Thomas Edison by claiming credit for the innovations of the companies he's bought his way into. (He's modeled on a real person, and it is NOT subtle at all.) Well, that's a fairly standard sci-fi trope... give a computer with greater-than-human intelligence the ability to think like a human and you've got at least a 50-50 on it going crazy rampage nuts sooner or later. 😆 After all, we're told directly in-series that the reason Prodigy is using kids for these experiments is because their minds are better able to adapt to their new state as Synths. That implies both that they've tried this unsuccessfully with adults and that the success rate with kids is not 100% either. Yeah, it's got a good critical reception... which means very little considering how many critics are bought-and-paid-for. Audience scores are lower, but still generally favorable. It's a mindless sort of nostalgia-driven series so we'll see if those numbers trend up or down.
