  2. The more I see it, the more it reminds me of Murderface just a little less fuzzy

    1/55's revisited

I don't ever remember seeing the packaging for that one, actually looks like they spent some time on it. Space Castle...super endless transformations, neat What is Space Castle #1? Then the obvious, is there #3 and more?
  4. Today
  5. That’s the issue with Justin.. He will brag about anything about how Hot Toys is great and skip over any criticisms/flaws if there is any and give bantha podo comments about Sideshow, shills and sings about Pop Collectables (and formerly Toys Wonderscam as well) about the privilege of being connected to him to supply his 1/6 crack habits. Name one famous 1/6th collector out there and Justin will be highly on that list. A fair chunk of 1/6 collectors do not approve of him (including his other fellow shillers).
  6. I would say it's definitely worth the time because it doesn't take much time at all... It's movie length.
  7. My first official contact with Doctor Who; until then I had only seen and referenced it in materials like the RPG All Flesh Must Be Eaten.
  8. Hahahaha. And I like her too. What’s going on? Nah we are very silly laidback people and she is so thoughtful. That being said, she’s actually a bit sassy for a 80year old. Swears like a sailor and doesn’t take *%#<%#*^%% from nobody. Hahahaha
  9. Yesterday
  10. A mother-in-law who likes you?! Doing something right @Papa Rat!
  11. Hmm, not of fan of either Italeri or Revell... maybe I should just wait.
  12. VF-1D fighter turned up this week, up to PLAMAX’s usual high standards.
  13. There's the Italeri kit (which is reboxed for several other brands, including Tamiya) and a Revell one, and both are ...not Hasegawa. By the way, Matchbox managed to rush out their Alpha Jet kit before the first flight of the real thing. I was molded after the full scale Dornier mockup, so it only roughly resembles the actual Alpha Jet. I won't apply the mockup scheme, but someting related to ...Canada 😄
  14. True re: when the funds leave my account, but I have enough financial discipline - just barely enough - to account for the future charge today. So I feel it but don’t yet have anything to show for it. 😅
  15. Thanks for that, I didn't know Pulse would sell em - snagged a Blackout.
  16. But Pulse doesn't charge your card until they ship, so you won't fee the Overgear stuff until December... when you're trying to buy Christmas presents. I just went it for a single Blackout. Until/unless he gets a G1-ified Generations version, Overgear Blackout will be my stand-in. I'll definitely go in on Prime, too, but I just don't care enough about Ironhide.
  17. That movie sits in a really weird spot for "Doctor Who". The eighth Doctor played quite an important part, I guess, in establishing how the later series would handle things (through all the various spin-off media) but the actual movie itself seems to get even less attention than the ones with Peter Cushing!
  18. Yeesh.. Razor's Crest is okay.. still waiting on them to complete half of the other iconic ships. Would really love to see a shuttle... tie bomber... or maybe a Tantive IV more than three inches long...
  19. Hasbro Pulse just listed Overgear: https://www.hasbropulse.com/search?q=overgear Picked up 2 of each. Ouch. But Hasbro wasn't done with me. I then cancelled my Power of the Primes Predaking sitting in my Pile of Loot (BBTS) after watching a handful of lackluster YouTube reviews. I then immediately rolled the store credit into two anime-colored G1 Grimlocks. Expensive Friday for yours truly.
  20. @electric indigoOMG another great orange scheme! I remember that matchbox kit and it too was one of my earliest builds as a child. Can't wait to see what you do with the 1/48 brother, its such a tiny aircraft. What is the best JAS-39E Grippen kit out there in 1/72? I'd love to build one up in Canadian colors and I hope they choose that instead the F-35! @Chas Love Crusher Joe mechanics and love that Minerva - looking good!
  21. I dig it. I played this for my kids during our commute: Now they constantly ask for it to be played during our car rides
  22. So just found out something of interest! The production manager for the Hi-Metal R series seems to be the same person that was also in charge of the Yamato 1/12 V.O.T.O.M.S. line! On the Bandai page he is named as Hitoshi Yanagisawa, While Tim Eldred has an interview with the Yamato production designer Toshihisa Yanagisawa which I'm sure just the first name is not translated properly but I'm certain its the same person pictured here sitting on the right! And runs the production company ARMIC Co. I'm sure he was given more development leeway to develop a Hi'R quality product with Bandai! Think it's an interesting find! 😉
  23. I’ll try and get an updated one since thing moved around and other builds are added, but this was on the day I got the display. I loaded it up quickly. Now I need to ditch all those boxes finally. My mother in-law surprises me with it for Christmas. Such a perfect gift. It has different light temp settings and intensities. I might be able to add some sort of glass shelf above those 1/144 to make room for more smaller scale builds?
  24. Here’s pics of the Bandai kits Mando kit razor crest and the trench run set
  25. There are two right on the front page... one of which is someone else asking basically the same question.😅 Well, without knowing you it's kind of hard to answer an open-ended question like that. Personally, I would say that Macross II: Lovers Again is just as worthy of your time as any other Macross title. It was kind of the odd man among Macross sequels (at least prior to Delta) in that it didn't take a radically new approach to the setting. It's a fairly safe, conventional sequel that builds on what came before but takes no major risks with it. It presents a rather different view of Macross's future than the sequels that came after, built exclusively on DYRL?.
