  3. A friend of mine had never seen any of the Tron movies, so I had him come down to watch the first two. Personally, while I can see how the original film would have been really impressive back in 1982, but the pacing of the actual story felt really off. This isn't to say that Legacy's plot was any better, and it's a less creative film overall, but it moved at a better pace and the sights and sounds were greatly improved. As far as Ares goes, I don't have a lot of hope for it. The plot seems a little dumb, and I'm really not a fan of Jared Leto. But I caught previews for it in 3D, and when the Recognizer is flying through the city it looked pretty awesome. So I think I'm going to make same buddy go see it in 3D with me.
  4. I'm only really a fan of the original 82 movie. I didn't really enjoy Legacy to be honest. So for Ares, I think I'll wait until it's on D+ before watching it.

I'm guessing KC don't have a prototype sculpt yet, so just took the Bandai HMR and photoshopped the colors for their website pic. 😅
  10. Miami Vice is still to this day my favorite (non-anime) TV series. Just actually rewatching it again at the moment and currently half way through season 3. I actually quite disliked the Colin Farrel & Jamie Foxx movie though. Not sure we need another movie, but I guess it's cool that they are setting it in the 80s.
  11. Yeah a movie format somehow misses the point on what made the series popular...the story pacing, looks +and letting jan hammer's score seep into the dramatics... That said, not sure if any new series would work either...miami vice was a product of its time...
  12. I'm a pretty big Miami Vice fan and am jazzed they're setting this in the 80s. I'm a little anxious about who they'll cast, though.
  13. @GMK Thanks for all the pics. 👍

  17. I will say that they’re pretty good for the time. Simple parts make for a simple build. A little on the limited mobility, but still fun little kits. I only built the Zero -S though and might be fun for the A type.
  18. Evidently that Spider-Man is 6.1 inches too so it's not oversized like the IM figures have been in the past.
  19. Sure, I know it's just battroids. But I never picked up the previous editions. At least with these, I'll have SOME representation of VF-0 (and VF-1) to display with other 1/100s.
  20. These are just a rerelease of the old ones, with the parts to make either of the versions they previously released. Still a good lil kit, but they never did the fighter or gerwalk parts like with their VF-1. Maybe they’ll get creative and finally make them. Although, I was hoping for Bandai hg kits with better articulation and such

It also includes rare color illustrations that were published in the magazine when it was serialized. In the year 2009, a girl performed a miracle.
