    @Papa Rat - Photoetch will DEFINITLEY drive you to the brink of madness and beyond...LOL. I don't mind some, but man, there's a LOT for the Texas, and it's not all easy. I haven't event gotten to the hard stuff yet. *Sigh* - Sometimes I DOOoooo miss my days of building Ban Dai Star Wars kits---click, snap, click, paint, decal, DONE! But then where's the challenge right????......Right???? 😬 @Chas - No, no annealing, the last time I tried that, melting happened....LOL

    Really looking forward to Clayface, with the right director, and tone, Clayface could make for a great, horrifying body-horror, tragic anti-hero DC film. Clayface is a great character, I love Alan Tudyk as Clayface on the Harley Quinn HBO series, the character can definitely be done in multiple ways, with different takes from different actors.

    A Mangaka's Weirdly Wonderful Workplace A slice-of-life comedy about the trials and travails of a novice mangaka's daily life as she produces new chapters of her shogi manga Dear Subaru for a shoujo manga magazine. Given that this kind of thing is well-trodden ground, I'd kind of expected the series to make the hilariously toxic work dynamics of the professional mangaka the focus of the humor in the series. There is a bit of that but most of what passes for humor in this series is the titular mangaka being a womanchild who breaks down in hysterical tears over every little inconvenience and has to be bullied into and/or mercilessly handheld through every aspect of doing her job by her assistant. It's more depressing than funny.

    Ghost of Yotei is peak, I'm not bothering with a PS5 Pro, but on base PS5 it still looks and runs great, highly recommended.

    A Gatherer's Adventure in Isekai definitely ain't beating the "boring, lazy, painfully derivative form letter writing" allegations by trying to be self-aware about how its plot developments don't make sense. 😆 If your story's barely gotten started and your only recourse to trying to make the story's events fit together and flow is to have your protagonist acknowledge that random bullsh*t just keeps happening and none of it makes sense, maybe consider a career other than "professional writer"? Seriously.

    Think the buttstock is supposed to be a skeleton underfolder, so it was always supposed to shorten to the same length, just without spitting... They should have done a new gunpod mold, not just for that, but also the ammo gimmick and add the beam ammo. That is definitely an intentional feature. The wings are different shaped, so definitely new parts. They put them there on purpose like the new wings on the 19Kai. I agree that it's a cool play option and I wish the frontier valks also got, and bandai should release more missiles to actually use the feature. Wanting them removed is kind of being the no fun police... I don't see how it's possible to mount the back pack guns. The piece it goes on has no ports on the surface, and all of its edges are blocked by something, so they can't even hook anything around. They either have to dremel some tab slots in before packing it in the box, or give you double sided tape with the pack. I feel like the way they announced this is a declaration that they won't do a super pack for it. Not even the 19Kai looks like it has plugs for the sound booster. I feel like bandai killed the idea of add ons as separate purchases, that's why anything that was going to have a pack had their packs included since WWM started. I'm still huffing my hoping for the arm cannon, but I honestly don't think it's ever happening.

    (Let's try this again, since my first post vanished...) An already ugly rendition of the VF-1 with a poorly thought out connection for the legs and shoulders and proportions that make the fighter and gerwalk modes look somewhere between hideous and clownish gets armor nobody asked for. Hard pass for me... doubly so now with this.
