He's playing one of Capcom's joke characters Don Sauvage. Think Snoop Dogg mixed with 80s wrestling manager Jimmy Heart with Apollo Creed's wardrobe, and is for all intents and purposes the tournament announcer. - Today

Other than Eric Andre and Jason Mamoa, I have no memory of what these other actors have done. And I’m pretty sure Eric Andre won’t last long. He’s more of an aged prankster than a fighter -
I've dabbled a bit with the F-18's shape in the transforming fighter jets I've designed, to mixed results. Fixed-wing aircraft look great in Fighter mode, but the wings don't stow away very well in Battroid. Artistically, I don't like a bunch of junk hanging off the back of a robot. It seems to miss the point of a transforming fighter. 🤷♂️ https://www.deviantart.com/studiootaking/art/CFs-Generation-2B-Master-File-Chronicle-708803627

A little, but like Bruce Lee he's pretty defined, and a trained martial artist. I'm willing to give him a chance. -

Andrew Koji seems a tad small for Ryu. -
I guess the 24 is kinda closest. Now that I think about it, even a Valk that has a pair of vertical and horizontal stabilizers doesn't seem to exist... I guess the Sv-51 is almost kinda there. But I don't want to count it because it's got it's got X wing stabilizers, split wingtips, canards, and the whole thing has weiner proportions. Some of the later valks have those mini stabilizers to form an X and I don't want to count those either lol.

New Street Fighter reboot movie officially announced, along with cast pics. I'll be honest, I don't know who most of those people are. But they seem like reasonably good fits... for the most part. I could definitely see David Dastmalchian (one of the guys I do know!) doing his best Raul Julia as Bison. I'm not loving Roman Reigns as Akuma, though. And what the heck is going on with Orville Peck? My first thought was that his cast photo had him in costume, and for some reason they were changing Vega's mask to something more like Zorro. But I guess a mask and cowboy hat is Peck's normal public look? So it's meta having a guy who likes wearing a mask play the guy who likes wearing a mask?

They don't; I have him and as near as I can tell, they don't have any. Watching the promo video for it, it looks like they may have modified the cab's lower legs at the knee joint so it can travel forward (0:58): The front of the knee (where the "sticker" would be) looks like a plate, and it may actually hinge outward/down to allow the thigh to bend forward.- 17600 replies

On that note: it makes me wonder what the aliens' observations about humans would be (if they kept some sort of journal)? Oh, you mean the Magneto android? : I only saw bits and pieces of that movie; I didn't want to sever my higher brain functions for it.

Put a fork in it, it’s done. “For now” I might settle on getting one of those Hasegawa Macross stands for this. Anyone here use one?

Seems unlikely at present. Maybe they'll play with that in season 5 or something. Kirk may have just preferred the doctor he brought with him, or perhaps M'Benga took a year in a shore posting like Dr. Crusher did and Kirk didn't want to reorganize the department when he came back.

Well, yeah... regular people dying in droves because rich arseholes want to control the uncontrollable is pretty much Alien in a nutshell. If you exclude Alien: Covenant, anyway. That's just Too Dumb to Live rednecks dying for an obsolete android's daddy issues and doesn't really involve The Company at all.

I hate the design for Lex, his crotch piece looks more like a front butt with a thong

The 171 kinda, sorta comes close to that if you squint real hard. 😉 I get what you mean, though. A fixed wing version of the VF-1, or maybe a slimmed down VF-24 would fit the bill.

Well, for the price of this Missing Link Ultra Magnus, I may as well just buy the original G1 toy even if it's a reissue and save myself a hundred or so dollars.- 17600 replies

Yeah, I was trying to give him an idea of what is readily available at consumer-grade level. I'm lucky enough to work somewhere that I have access to a lot of printers and materials ( from fdm printers to SLA , to resin, abs and carbon fiber), but I know most people don't have access to that. If he can find someone or somewhere that can print in ABS, that would be ideal like I mentioned, but it still doesn't seem that common at the consumer level. PETG would be a good option and is becoming more readily available. Also PLA has come along in the last few years. 5 years ago I would never try to do a part like that in PLA, but if that were my only option now, I think it would be fine.
