  2. This. Under the advisement of my boss/friend who is a huge Trek fan (of most things), not Sec 31 or Disco, I am avoiding this mess like the plague. In his words "awful, awful, awful, don't watch!" - I told him my advice was to go cleanse his pallet and watch "In The Pale Moonlight" from DS-9 to remind himself what GOOD Trek writing and acting actually looked like!
  3. I could see it bring a newer better faster variable version of the Ghost X9 from Macross Plus possibly??? Pretty good looking design I think.

  5. So what happens when sheer stubbornness, a glorified button box, Ace Combat and the Unreal Engine Scripting System meet? Pure magic. I got the game to spew out a constant stream of telemetry data and events in search for more immersion in my VF-1 inspired home cockpit. The approach is the very same that I used for X4 Foundations before: Side load lib Luasocket, get a network connection established and start dumping extracted game data to it. This is highly experimental and the result of hacking away for the last ~4 nights. This video demonstrates the results: I usually use a modded VF-1 plane in AceCombat as well. This is now my personal substitute for the lack of any decent Macross / Robotech game since Macross VOXP 🤓

  8. Taking references / inspirations from VF-X cover, hasegawa, yamato. (Ratio; Fighter nose to intake (4/4), intake to wing (4/4), wing to tips of stabilizer (2/4). Spec; a) must have engines display (removable cover), front intake actually have duct connected to hover mechanism and both rear engines. b) Battroid silhouettes have to close to Shoji Kawamori snesei's line art. c) transformation, wing platform as main core support of parts. d) have to look slim as nature of 21 & 22. d) named vf 22 plus is implement my transformation ideas into it, The silhouettes of fighter, gerwalk and battroid have to follow original creator. This are few specs i lists in my scoops.

  12. I'm not so sure I'd call that a sixth-generation fighter, as it looks to have more in common with a Gundam waverider, albeit a far sleeker one than we usually see. It's just a little too sci-fi looking with way too many gaps and overlapping panels and a lack of a proper cockpit. Visually, it's quite busy, whereas modern stealth planes are all smooth contours. It's cool, don't get me wrong, but it lacks realism in its flight mode. However, if they did an anime or a game with this as a featured mech, that'd be cool. Edited to add that there simply are not enough games where you can play a transforming mecha, a lamentable omission in the already sparse mecha game genre.
