  1. Past hour
  2. Not super surprising, they can't sell it at a loss and make it up with licensing fees the way consoles do. Also, what even is console pricing anymore? Used to be they'd go down in price as they aged. Five years ago both the Series X and PS5 were $500, today they're S650 and $550, respectively. My money's on $600 for the 512GB Steam Machine.
  3. My VF-1S Armored Valk arrived today in excellent condition with no broken parts or two left armor pieces. The color of the armor is fantastic and the box artwork, to include the outer sleeve is beautiful. MB
  4. Oof... yeah, the machine translation is definitely having a time with the proper nouns and dialogue containing sentence fragments. It is, in hindsight, more than a little funny that Mirage [...]
  5. Today
  6. Being a single dad to a teenage daughter made them required viewing.
  7. That’s too bad, Alan is a great guy and hope they land on their feet!
  8. My wife likes the movies still. I don't care for them myself.
  9. I think everyone kinda stopped caring about hunger games
  10. These pictures and the articulation all make the hasegawa look like garbage in comparison. I’m really glad I held back on those. But instantly preordered when I saw it up the other night.
  11. To late for me, but if anyone wants inspiration:
  12. That's what sold me. Pre-order in.
  13. Eh, it doesn't look bad per se, just same-y. Homogenized.
  14. Yesterday
  15. In a bit of potential bad news...The Steam Machine may be priced like a PC and not a game console. https://mp1st.com/news/steam-machine-will-cost-like-a-pc-not-a-console
  16. Looks pretty good painted up. The calf though đŸ˜
  17. The proportions look way better than the Hasegawa version.
  18. I wanted to understand the point of this animal avatar. Looks like it's going to flop again.
  19. Incidentally, your chapter 3 upload seems to have an access issue?
  20. Yeah, I don't recall the brand, but the price was $699 - that deal was solid. If you're not opposed to refurb GPU's, Microcenter has fantastic deals on high quality refurbs. I know refurb GPUs get bad press, but MC does a good job of giving you peace of mind with decent return policies. You might be able to save a little green and hit your use case. Of course YMMV on what's in stock, but don't overlook them if you're amenable to it.
  21. Well, at least my Maia Alpha fighter isn't alone anymore. I wanted to see if I could match the paint used on the MPC with my Poseable Alpha... sadly it worked until it didn't. I had initially nailed the colors, that purplish/lavender color is Purple, Rose pink, a dash of red and some midnight blue all mixed up. The daker shade is Navy blue, black and a dash of purple. Everything looked great until I applied some clear-coat, I knew it might darken things a bit, but that purple is darker than I wanted it to be... #%$@! In the end, this old Alpha Poseable served as a test bed for A) could I match the colors, B) could I make the air-intakes look like a Shadow type and C) is this worth trying again on a Beta or another poseable Alpha. The answer is yes, only next time with an airbrush, properly made decals, Tamiya/Mr. Hobby paints and something other than clear-coat or just be really careful next time in the future. @nightmareB4macross That custom VF-1S keeps getting more impressive with each new addition.
  22. Chapter 4 Singer of The Wind One of my favorites in all of Kodachi's works. The battle over Voldor begins. This chapter has really cool details: Avaliable here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1y8vH9l1skdym-2n9vaE8LaGoTaB6Tq0CqbScH8b5zDk/edit?usp=sharing
