My group won't be able to get together to watch it 'til Wednesday, but we've decided to make a double-header out of it... Andor S2 #10-12 followed by dinner and then Rogue One. Gonna make an occasion out of the conclusion of what, by ratings, is likely the best Star Wars title ever made. đ

Anyone have this issue with plastic part of the side leg come off, probably due to the pressure of transforming. What glue do you recommend to fix?

Yeah; sounds like a cheat to use conventional locales instead of far flung exotic ones... >_> -

Wow it's been a million years since I posted on these forums. I've been a member since pretty much the beginning, but mostly lurk. Any way. I bought 3 yf-21's. The first 2 were both mint ( one from BBTS and one from Amazon). So I rolled the dice on a 3rd one from Amazon which had the bent antenna. I contacted blue fin re replacement antenna in late November. I emailed them every week looking for status. Finally in January they wrote back and said they couldn't guarantee they could send a new part and told me to return the toy to Amazon. So I held it until the end of my return window and then sent it back. Got the new antenna via FedEx today. I guess I'll keep it in the bank. A pretty valuable piece of plastic. âđŒ

I guess with all the other stuff that bugs me in the photos, the sword is the only thing thatâs trying here. I donât mind it, as long as He Man somehow looks much larger when he uses it, it could work. -

Well, mine just arrived and it was indeed a full valk. Found that the part of the canopy that connects to the hinge was still broken though It wasn't crumbled to little bits like the original, so I tried applying some super glue and am hoping that it's enough to keep it together. At least the head laser is straight. I guess I'll use the rest as spare parts as it's not enough to use as a separate figure. Even one of the flaps is missing from the port side wing.

Good info. Thanks. Mine shows 2.5 lbs, so it sounds like they sent me the whole thing. I should get it some time today.

(Cartman laugh instert) HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!đ€Ł About the sword, I know it is cartoon-like accurate, but I think the look of the big quillons is better in cartoon form rather than live-action. To me, it looks too cartoony... I know, I know... I think they would have been better as smaller devices with the blade a bit narrower at their juncture. -
You can tell if you got a valk or a just parts by the shipping weight that fedex emails you. if it's less than a pound you just got parts. If it's 2.05lb it's a valk. Sadly I only got parts . my shipping weight was. 0.45 lb and I got 1 antenna and 2 canopies

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/madoverlord/macross-ii-lovers-again-alus-edition/posts/4370355 Dear Backers, The last month has seen a lot of progress. We've almost completed the second restoration pass on the 4K video, and authoring is well underway. We expect to have a test disc next month. The editing of the 16-page liner notes and interviews booklet is complete, and once we get final approval of the cover design, that will go into final proofing and be printed -- we need to print this first because it affects the sizing of the chipboard box, and it's always better to adjust the box fit using actual components. Editing and final layout of the artbook is progressing rapidly, it looks like it's going to come in at around 230 pages, but this might grow as we keep getting new art that we just have to add, such as the opening animation storyboards... Character Goods! In addition to the main work of getting the disc and artbook completed, we've also been doing a lot of work on the two add-on character goods we are planning. The first is, of course, an embroidered patch, because at this point, it's a tradition. But the Macross II patch is our most detailed one to date, and not only did we have to use all 12 available thread colors, but to get the required level of detail we had to go from our usual 4x4" size to 5x5". This is one of our test patches; we do a small run to check everything out which we also use as the "team" patches we give to everyone who worked on the project. The final patch will be identical except the text will be in white instead of gold. And because we always like to try something new, for the first time we're doing a standee; it's about 6 1/4" tall. Both of these use Mikimoto-sensei's new Ishtar art, and are exclusive limited-editions available only to project backers. Tariff Headaches As we are sure everyone is painfully aware, there is considerable uncertainty as to what the delivered cost of products manufactured in China (such as these) will be on any particular day - and the delay between gathering all of your orders, placing manufacturing orders, and actual delivery (and payment of tariffs) makes things even worse. In order to reduce the window of uncertainty, we've created a Character Goods Preordering Poll. For each of the character goods, you can indicate how many of each of the items you'd order at three different prices (representing three different tariff scenarios) Patch: $10/$12/$15 Standee: $25/$30/$35 Note: These prices include shipping anywhere (as part of your main order), but do not include customs duty or VAT for international recipients. We'll use the results of this survey to determine the size of the production run (based on the tariff situation at the time of ordering) and the final cost (based on the actual tariff paid -- so we won't add them to the ordering page until they've actually arrived). Our goal will be to minimize the price everyone pays while minimizing the risks. One Last Thing We're pleased to announce that the documentary you made possible, The Story of Macross II -Lovers Again-, will be shown at Momocon on Thursday, May 22nd from 7:00PM!

Anyone else getting Thor-vibes? Super strong hero with mystical weapon (sword instead of hammer) comes to Earth and must regain his memories (powers)? He even has a run-in with a car too! Yeah, they really should have kept this on Eternia. -
I had been sitting on buying this book, but thanks to samples of photos you posted, I have it coming in today or tomorrow. I'm excited to get this.

So, if I missed this in this discussion, I apologize, but why hasnât this shown up on BBTS or Amazon in the US yet? Twich

Wow. That's pretty crazy that they basically sent you a whole valk minus accessories. A week or so ago, I got a FedEx notification that a package was being shipped to me. I couldn't figure out what the heck it could be since I didn't order anything that would be shipped through FedEx. Got an email later that the shipper was from BNTCA. I realized it was my replacement parts that I've waited close to 9 months for now. I wonder if they'll do the same or if I'm getting just the parts. I don't care either way. I just want a non-bent head laser and a canopy with an unbroken hinge. That's all I've wanted and I hope they inspected the replacements before sending to me because otherwise, I'm going to be extremely pissed waiting this long for damaged parts.

No. The black adapters are the ones that come with the AFC. I flipped the Tamashii stand arm upside down so that the thicker peg connects to the adapter and the thinner peg connects to the base.
