    This looks fantastic! Great work on both the Valkyrie and the base. I love the paint scheme, it's very unique. I plan on doing a catapult launch diorama with the Fine Molds F-4B I recently picked up and this gives me some great ideas on ways to construct the deck and blast deflectors.

    I did some more work with the oils yesterday. I got some white down on the upper fuselage for some subtle sun bleaching and panel variation. I also finished up the detailing in the wheel wells. I'm really enjoying working with the oils, but it's definitely a slow, methodical process. And even with leaching the oils out by dispensing the paint on to cardboard, the drying time is long (but that's also one of the advantages of oils). I think it's definitely worth it and my patience is being rewarded.

    I know there’s the mini kits in 1/72 and there’s the upcoming Zenith model kit in 1/48 scale. What scale will this be?

    hi everyone, here in the summer heat i have been creating this in tinkercad... its one of the mechs from Front Mission Evolved (with my own interpretation mixed in) i will now work on getting it print ready for FDM printers.

    I was checking this one out. I’m curious to see their inevitable Wolverine. I’m also curious to see if they do a good amount of the characters from the “Gamerverse” Will they just do X-Men or the other Marvel characters and are we getting some of the capcom characters like Stryder

    The official date hasn't been set, but it's traditionally September. Whatever day it is, you just have to order from Habro Pulse (the EU version does ship to Germany). I just don't remember if you have to be a Pulse Premium member or not.

    I stand corrected. I meant Su-27, but it was quite late, and my brain wasn't running on all cylinders at the time. And yeah, J-16 is the Chinese designation for their version. And while the MiG-27 Flogger isn't that bad, it's certainly no Flanker in terms of aesthetics. The MiG-29 and Su-27 are two of the loveliest fighters in the world, IMHO.

    Whatever it is is potentially going to wind up in Erusean markings eventually, but I'm not sure if I'm going to try the entire scheme. Maybe just the insignia and highlights.

    I am glad this season is almost over. Lackluster is the best way to describe it. So many of the show I watched will be forgotten in a few days. Summer seems stacked for me.

    It's possible that the pic from Marvelousnews has a typo. The fanstream (with no update from Dan Yun or anyone else from Hasbro) and Preternia say that the War Machine vs Omega Red set goes up in July. In any case I'll see when it goes up. My Target order history shows that the release date for the Psylocke vs Thanos set changed from August to July.

    Wow, I would have expected Juggernaut to be more. Looks like WM/Omega went from July sometime to June. Hopefully nobody wants that one, I like the production artwork and am a big War Machine fan so I do want that version. Also, Target says Psylocke ships July 20th now instead of November like all of the rest have been slated currently.

    This season is drawing to a close, and so too is the parade of forgettable nonsense that was my watch list. Of the twenty or so shows I gave a whirl, I don't think I found a single one besides The Apothecary Diaries that I'd say stood out in a positive way. There were a lot of mediocre shows like The Gorilla God's Go-To Girl, Can a Boy-Girl Friendship Survive?, and The Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows that I'd call "watchable, but forgettable". So forgettable, in fact, that I actually had to look up Brilliant Healer's title because I couldn't ****ing remember it. 😆 Classic★Stars, however... that is easily the worst-written anime series I've seen in years. It's an excuse plot so thin you could be forgiven for missing its existence entirely that's serves only to justify a string of Macross Delta-esque virtual idol performances of j-pop, j-rock, and j-rap arrangements of public domain classical music. The story of Classic★Stars is an incoherent mess. The characters... exist, I guess. The animation is anywhere from passable to iffy. The music that's supposed to be the main attraction, however... well, it runs the gamut from the merely odd and out-of-place-sounding to the kind of bizarre sort of mess you'd expect from a music major's bar bet all the way out to the kind of auditory torture that makes you hope the vengeful ghosts of past classical composers visit the arranger's house A Christmas Carol-style to terrorize them into repentance and an immediate change of career. That this is apparently meant as promotional material for a pre-existing mixed media project is slightly baffling to me.
