  1. Past hour
  2. Most transformable VF models aim for tight fighter-mode silhouettes. Perfect panel lines. Zero gaps. But the tradeoff? You can barely move the damn thing in Battroid mode. This new manufacturer flipped the script. I remember seeing the prototype two years ago at a local convention — people were… lukewarm. But now? The real thing hits different. ✅ Transformation is solid ✅ Battroid mode is actually poseable ✅ Feels like a machine, not a fragile shelf queen You’re not just transforming it. You’re playing it. Finally — a VF-1 that's not just for photos. It stands. It poses. It fights. And you don’t have to worry about breaking it every time you twist a joint.
  3. @pengbuzz - Hey man, you 1000% married a GOOOD woman right there! We can bring our Cat's Eye's across the finish line together! In other news...actual progress was made over the past couple of days on the TOS Enterprise! More decals and detail painting today, but I am starting to get excited about finishing this one up!
  4. Today
  5. There is some great advancements in SFF/MFF with mATX/ITX mobos this year, next year should be the same. I expect a huge transition away from ATX sized mobos next year. Plus RTX 50xx Super GPUs are expected later this year too.
  6. Considering these days finding missing figures at cons is a given, their pricing is insane and over the top. I'm not gonna spend 70+ on a deluxe figure at all....even if it's hard to find. But 130 for a two figure pack that is just barely getting into the market at 89....I mean come on. If it were 100, yeah I'd probably pay for it, bit steep but I'd manage. 86 for Swoop when he's around 60 is iffy....honestly I can still get him and save probably 10-12 bucks online and that's probably the direction I'll go in the end.
  7. Well... it's back: I had destroyed this model after it had failed, and dumped the pieces into the dumpster a couple of years ago, after it's utter failure. Anyone want to guess how it survived? Anyways, over the past several days, I pieced it back together using every single material, technique and trick I had in my arsenal. It was a pain, but I knew that the only way out of this was the hard way. More pics of where this is right now: I need to mask off windows and prime this, then paints and decals. And then a stiff drink. Stay tuned...
  8. Yeah, it was a pain to paint: Would have been a bit easier if it wasn’t fixed pose. Had to keep looking back at the Sentinel Rey to make sure I got the colors at least somewhat right.
  9. Thanks so much. I do want to try out that technique. I am working my way to the VE-1. Maybe I try it on that one. 👍
  10. Hahaha. I like that idea. @BoltThanks.
  11. The FM3 remake has been out for a month now, and what I've been reading about it so far doesn't paint a good picture. Altered wanzer designs, subpar sound design, and bland graphics have been common denominators in the articles I've read. And what I find most foul is the rumors of AI use to replicate images in the network feature of the game. While the network feature is secondary in nature, the use of AI in a game I hold in high esteem is egregious. All this, not to mention their treatment of FM2, leads to believe that Forever Entertainment should leave FM alone.
  12. Could have the goose riding on the back for fun
  13. I guess you could possibly use the new after market decals that they probably will make for the ones they do in hg. I’m sure it might take a little more fitting and some testing to see how compatible they end up
  14. Nice job on the MAK.
  15. @davidwhangchoi It's definitely good to see more Mospeada toys & merch showing up. The question is will Sentinel take the plunge and make the Dark Legioss aka Shadow fighter, both variants. I'm tapped out currently moneywise, so I'm living vicariously through everyone here who got the Sentinel Tread, it looks really good. For now, I'm thankful I still have my Beta's.
  16. This one is an advertisement in Variety Magazine from 1984....super curious about what MIFED is and what they were doing with this title.
  17. Macross Cards Flyer Scramble Valkyrie Nintendo Flyer
  18. Wow-great memory on that! Now I really want to find that Sega Saturn Promo disc!! Says they are Zentradi walking tanks...sort of like Macross Universe AT-ATs
  19. At 4:39. I don't follow the channel so I don't really know if the dude is into macross too
  20. Wow! That looks amazing @Papa Rat Great weathering too!!! Might be a good one to test out that Acrylic Ink stippling technique.
  21. i'm still holding off buying parts for a desktop. pc interest has really taken a nosedive these past 2 months. maybe 2026 will be different.
  22. i hope the 1/28 is okay. good there's more interest in release Mospeada toys. For a while, it was dead. Now all these announcements at the same time. maybe the 1/60 will be good too.
  23. If all you really want is the plane, these kits have existed for a long time, and you can buy a handful of them for the cost of a single transforming kit. I don't know how often they get reissued, but I'm surprised they aren't just discontinued at this point. I'm frankly just disappointed they didn't make more marking sets, let alone more valks in this line. https://www.hlj.com/1-100-scale-vf-25f-messiah-valkyrie-alto-custom-ban969488
  24. Prowl's one of my favorite TF designs so I'm also hoping the Fairlady Zs will get the Missing Link treatment. I pretty much destroyed my original Prowl toy trying to give him some leg movement when I was a kid. I had no modding skills and I failed miserably. Anyway, the G1 TF toys don't interest me as-is, but the Missing Link treatment imbues them with the articulation I so wished they had when I was a kid and I'm definitely down for Prowl at the least. As to prices, greed and price gouging have made collecting a lot less fun, for sure.
  25. Woah! That's a neat find! And the fact that the Gurāji-legged version was semi-officially released is also pretty cool. ※ It's also the first time I've seen a version that matches Kazutaka Miyatake's designs for that particular beast. Reviewing the lineart for it (Kazutaka Miyatake Design Works Macross & Orguss Pgs 92-93) I noticed that the "feet" are slightly different from the Gurāji: 2 toes and a single heel. The zoomed-in image above is consistent with that, as well as the other leg details in the top-most illustration on Pg 93.
