This is the best reproduction of the dynamic pose. I am also interested in the kit.

NGL, the more I think about it the more I think Guy Fieri over Gordon Ramsay for that... After all, the Xenomorph isn't usually found dining on fresh high-quality white collar executives in a posh and spotlessly clean establishment. It's frequenting the grungy, grimy, hasn't-seen-a-mop-and-bucket-in-living-memory working spaceships and factories and enthusiastically consuming a diet of cheap, greasy, frozen-and-reheated blue collar working stiffs. Alien movies from the creature's perspective aren't Master Chef or even Kitchen Nightmares... it's Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. š

Thereās actually been a couple of bands that came up recently that people supported and bought albums from that turned out to be just ai. Itās getting really sneaky these days and definitely harder to tell the fakes on certain ones versus images and videos that are still rough. But pretty soon, Iād expect to see some videos that will be very convincing

Yeah, I saw someone utilizing ChatGPT to create a few songs about some folks/buddies, using just a handful of descriptions and a song genre suggestion. Kinda crazy how quickly it came up with something. And three out of the four āsongsā were actually not too shabby. š³

That's looking amazing too!!! Nice subtle mottling underneath that super smooth paint job!

WOW!!! That turned out absolutely amazing. Congrats, looks so good. Why would you need a stand if its on wheels?

Iām finding the easiest way to align pieces āthat will never alignā on these old kits is to simply just lay down some .3mm on top and move on. Been thinking ahead about color on this. I always see the VF-1S in a bright white and I may stick with that, but what if I do a rich red undercoat and see what happens? A cool blue would make more sense but why play it safe. Hahah We will find out when this puppy gets into the spray booth.

Woohoo! Surprise FedEx drop. Little bummed they broke away from the autobot city back drop with this character, cause he in particular should have that setup. Same time such a waste of packaging, like a bag of chips, they could put him in a box literally half the size and look better. sadly Iām out and about so I canāt say much about him cause heās still in the box at this time. Now that I'm home and had time to mess around with him, I can certainly say, none of us are gonna be putting him in his alternate form. He's got great articulation, looks pretty close to his actual G1 representation giving very little hint he turns into a tank. Yes there are things that could been improved upon or done differently, but seeing how for the majority of us, he's gonna be in robot mode, it doesn't really matter.- 17602 replies

So many amazing builds & customs going on here, well done everyone! @derex3592 The Cats-eye is looking superb so far! @MechTech From one of the masters of scratch building, I appreciate the compliment on those Nam Helmets. I remember the M3 Flak helmet you posted years ago, I 'm still taken back how you did those flaps, very impressive to this day. @Papa Rat Your VE-1 is a masterpiece, I love the detailing!

Been listening to certain playlists over past few weeks as casual background music, before gradually realising they are AI music. At first, I thought only the vocals are AI, but it seems everything - composition, arrangement, instrumentals are AI generated. It really mimics high production value, and unlike most of current AI images or videos which I suspect most of us are able to tell apart from the real thing, if I were to just listen to the track without any context I wouldn't be able to tell that it's something generated in just minutes.

I do hope Toyrise's Legioss do well so we continue to get other stuff inspired by Breaker's line. Safe to say Sentinel won't be releasing more of Breakers as Gate's ride armor didn't seem to do so well.

Are the thighs on G1 OP and UM's core made of die cast? It's been a very long time since I handled that figure and I don't recall. However, that would account for my mistaking them for being chromed, as they're pretty shiny in the pics. I was thinking, too, that there may be a moveable panel to allow for more forward knee travel, but I couldn't make it out if there is. There could also just be more clearance in the leg mold to allow for the thighs to swivel forward a bit. Regardless, I'm thinking the pics show the extent, or very close to the full extent of thigh forward motion. If it could kick up higher, I'm thinking they would've shown it for the 'ooh, ahh' factor.- 17602 replies

What's lying on my workbench (couch). I purchased something that has been suggested to me through one of my many ali express orders for RC car parts. For a whopping 7.65ā¬. I couldn't say no to this. The box arrived squished up, so I hoped the pieces would be okay. Checking the pieces - they seemed fine. Everything is snap-fit, colored already and printed on. The assembly is straight forward. Here is a little step by step: The super detailed landing gears - I've never seen them this detailed before XD: And done: With wings that can be swept in It were a fun 5 minutes to snap this thing together. Probably the least accurate Tomcat ever, but hey - 7 euro-something for a plane already painted and printed on? I don't complain. haha... look at those huge panel lines. hahahaa

Thanks, i checked nin-nin but the pre-order seems to be already sold out or not available yet(!?!). Not quite sure whether it will ever become available at this point...and thanks for the other tips but i buy regularly from japan. The problem is that with Gunpla kits, especially limited ones are almost impossible to buy from japan resellers if you live in europe. Thanks again anywyway for your seuggestions.

I guess itāll answer the question for Macross vs Star Trek, at least from trek biased people

I would buy them from there, but almost all the kits Iāve wanted end up web exclusive. The only standard one Iāve wanted recently that I preordered got oversold and now Iām on the waiting list for the next batch of Gallus jās. Other than that, I canāt really think of a standard release gundam kit that I was excited for in the last couple years

I found a preorder here: https://www.nin-nin-game.com/en/gundam/195711-re100-1100-mobile-suit-gundam-f91-xm-02-den-an-ge-limited-edition-bandai-spirits-.html I never used this store but others had positive experiences with it I believe. I usually bought my Gunpla from HLJ. They usually have all the non exclusive kits. If you have never bought from Japan before aware that you have to pay 20% customs fres/VAT on top when you import the item from a non EU country if the total order (including shipping costs) is over ā¬100 (this might vary from country to county. On top, the local carrier usually has a service fee to import the item for you (filling out the customs paperwork). For me that is usually around ā¬7 for DHL. Plus shipping from Japan can get expensive too when you buy from smaller stores (i.e. not Amazon Japan).
