Does anyone here think the original Superman movie is in any way diminished by the dreck of Superman 3? Or for that fact: Terminator and T2. Quote

Yes actually. I try not to think about it, but even the second one had some super goofy moments. The first movie was simple and great an no other Superman movie can match it, but the memory of just flinging his s to wrap people up or flying in the opposite direction to turn back time or that weird thing he did with the damn sorta make it tough for me to watch the original film and enjoy it the same way before stupid really started taking over. What a stupid idea, making The Machine of Inexorable Horror into a kid-friendly action buddy. There is one Terminator movie. Everything else is just swamp gas or a mirage or something. Quote

However, I think it's fair to say that, like all fans, they deserve a good film to carry on the legacy of the brand (at least we TF fans got Bumblebee, which was just good, not great). As such it's disheartening to see the negative inclination of the comments here. That said, I'm at a loss as to how Jared Leto continues to get work, as he seems to carry the Touch of Death to anything he's in. Quote

Swann Posted November 30 Posted November 30 They did got Namor completely wrong. In that Wakanda film. Wrong actor and look. Looks nothing like Spock on steroids Quote
Duke Togo Posted December 3 Posted December 3 So, I watched this earlier this evening. I did not care for it at all. Quote
mikeszekely Posted December 19 Posted December 19 If Kosinski isn't making his sequel it's kind of a moot point. Quote

Thom Posted December 19 Author Posted December 19 Would have so much rather have had a sequel to Legacy! Quote
Hikuro Posted December 20 Posted December 20 Think we all would have, Ares seems like it was such an unnecessary film that steals from the events of Legacy in a bad way which is really sad. I kept getting a little conflicted on wanting to watch it but seeing how I can't rent it for under 5 bucks I don't even see a purpose to, I'm not spending 25 bucks on that movie. Quote
