TangledThorns
Syd Mead was the kind of artist that inspired me to draw when I was young.

electric indigo
Syd Mead's art not only defined my vision of how the future must look like, but also my professional career. I hope he inhabits one of the countless worlds he designed now.
Mazinger
I doubt the Tesla truck would look like it does without Syd Mead's influence.
M'Kyuun
It's difficult to image the last 40 years of film without the influence of his art throughout, not to mention his various contributions to industries. Like most sci-fi fans, my life and hobbies are greatly enriched because of his contributions. He brought beauty into so many worlds, and in whatever one he inhabits now, I hope the favor is returned. RIP, Mr. Mead.
F-ZeroOne
I remember when the first images of "Turn-A Gundam" were released. How we laughed. Great Tominos ghost, we exclaimed, its got a 'TACHE! How wrong we were. Thank you, Mr. Mead, for what is now my favourite "Gundam" design.
