The design seems to be inspired by the Model Kingdom garage kit.

I am just so glad that they are finally acknowledging that NGE exists and not just "Rebuild of Evangelion" I'm just getting tired of seeing RoE getting the spotlight all the time. As a TV fan i see this as a win regardless if its some Mcdonalds toys.

Not gonna lie, if I were a kid getting a crappy meal, I’d love these as a consolation for soggy fries and a bland burger
