Chewie
I just preordered a Stealth from bbts. It will be my first 1/48. Anyone have an extra 1S head lying around willing to do a custom for me? lol Wasn't someone doing recasts awhile back? Anyway, the low viz is eh to me. Never been a big fan of jungle-like camo on planes. I mean, who has ever heard of a flying forest? o.o;; Love the stealth tho. Might end up getting more than one. - C
Project Phoenix
I mean, who has ever heard of a flying forest? o.o;; 376534 I do. It's called Laputa. Back to the topic, the LV2 should seriously be renamed to Camo type. It is a type of tropical camo paint after all.

eugimon
not really, the jungle camo was to protect low flying bombers attack planes from high flying interceptors and fighters.

But really, whats the point in having a colour scheme like that to make you harder to see when te plane itself makes a lot of operational noise? fansubs2000
Just a heads up for anyone that doesn't know (I'm sure most everyone knows) HLJ has these up for pre-order and you can get 5% off if ordered by March 6. A really good price if you order from them and use SAL shipping. Then you can get it pretty cheap, compared to others. HLJ are asking..... 1/48 Stealth = $120 1/48 LV II = $120 1/48 Super Stealth = $161 stands = $31 Low Viz GBP armor = $
Dante74
I allready put my order in for a Super Stealth, so I gues I'll get the discount. Although shipping to the Netherlands still costs a LOT.
Agent-GHQ
1. Are the prices below before or after the 5% discount? 2. Does HLJ want the pre-order money up-front? 3. Is HLJ the cheapest retail thus far? Just a heads up for anyone that doesn't know(I'm sure most everyone knows) HLJ has these up for pre-order and you can get 5% off if ordered by March 6. Is HLJ the cheapest retail thus far? 1. Those should be the prices with the 5 % discount included 2. HLJ charges your card once the item is shipped to you. 3. They sometimes are the cheapest. They are always very competitive with other retailers prices. But when you factor in shipping, most places prices are all within the same ballpark. So order from whom you feel most comfortable with. There are a few members here who have their own online stores and most of their customers swear by their service, so check them out as well. Good Customer service is pricelss. F360°
Isn't the shipping around $30 to ship a 1/48 from HLJ to CAlifornia ,USA by SAL? Shipping Estimate: EMS: 4,700 yen, SAL: 3,850yen Edited March 5, 2006 by F360°
Dobber
Yup, $33.08 for SAL and $40 something for EMS. After you factor that in, it really isn't that great a "deal". I had the VF-0s and the Super stealth on prorder with them, both at the earlybird price, but when it dawned on me how much shipping would be(VF-0s should be roughly the same as a 1/48, and god knows how much for a SUPER 1/48 if a regular one is mid $30's for a really slow shipping type) I cancelled and went with Twin Moons. GOOD prices and after shipping it's about the same as HLJ but you'll get it faster....unless you pay the extra for EMS with HLJ than HLJ would be more expensive but get it pretty quick. I guess it's all about prefrences, I like HLJ and buy a lot of stuff from them, but the shipping cost and or times really hurts them IMHO. fansubs2000
$33 for SAL!?!? Damn that is too much! I mself have shopped at HLJ several times a year for years but have never bought 1/48 Valk from them before. I usually get mine from Neova. Shipping for a 1/48 from him in HK ranges from $20-$30 AIR MAIL. How can $30 be the cost of SAL from Japan? WOW, that is a lot to pay and still have to wait 6 weeks. Valk-1S
SAL is only worth it if your package weights less than 2kg. If over it becomes pretty pricy becos it doesn't get categories as Small Package SAL.

fansubs2000
Neova is the cheapest of them all! Not really, he told me $215 shipped ....... 377621 That's probably because you are in Canada. That's my guess anyway.
Neova
Hi Wasabi, That was an estimate and its also cuz your in Canada. It costs more from Hong Kong to Canada and there is nothing I can do about it. If you have a friend here, I can hand it off locally so you can save the shipping. Neova
Agent-GHQ
That is because you are in Canada. Hence, shipping will be more of course versus The States. And Noeva has the best prices hands-down bro! Chewie
I am happy with anything below $220. And to reiterate UN Spacy's question: Are these going to be limited? If so I am buying 19 more. I want a new car.
vlenhoff
If I had to choose one, I'd pick the Camothe stealth looks to much like an Elintseeker in it's colorscheme 374058 Is that a bad thing? Since I don't have a 1/48 Elint, this stealth comes in handy..

realdeal
I was thinking that the stealth should have another symbol on its vertical tail fins besides a skull. Why can't it be a blue roses squadron or something totally unique? We have enough planes from skull squadron (hikaru 1-a Hikaru 1-s, roy, and max).
