    Funny thing about Colonial Marines is the varying price since its release. It started at $60 new, then the bad reviews and lawsuit happened so its price dropped almost immediatly to $25-30 bargin bin relegation which caused it to sell a ton of copies so the price rebounded back to $60 before finally settling at about $35-40 new.

    Considering both were made by Krupp it very well could have been the same guy outright. The Bagger 288 does share a small amount of concept design with the P1500 Monster design. The Monster was Krupp's idea for taking a massive 31 inch Gustav railgun and giving it tank treads so it could go anywhere. The monster never made past the conception pre-prototype design stage unlike the Ratte who had some parts made before cancellation, or the Maus' two prototypes.

    Correction, the Maus was never actually fielded in combat. Only two prototypes were ever built one without a turret. The first completed one was sabotaged to prevent it from falling into Russian hands, and the second incomplete one was abandoned outright. After the war the red army took the intact turret off of the blown up one and attached to the second hull which is what you see in the Russian national tank museum today. Because they were prototypes it really is hard to tell how successful it would have, but it did have a gun that could outrange and destroy anything put against it, and could out turn a sherman. Still if you think the concept of the Maus is insane you should look up the Ratte aka the Landkruizer. Somebody at Krupp thought it would be a good idea to make a tank 5 times the size of the Maus and fit it with twin 11 inch naval guns.

    Wings of Rean maybe, MAYBE just might not be that bad, but Garzey's Wing is a horrible pile of monkey crap that deserves the revulsion it gets and should only exist on this earth to be mocked and derided.

    Yeah that was the real trailer. WB is doing everything it can to keep it from get out and squashing it whenever it gets uploaded. My only complaint is this new Godzilla has no neck.

    Judge Dredd is only unwatchable if you actually gave a damn about the Judge Dredd franchise before seeing it. I saw it, liked it, then started reading the comics and was like "So that's why fans say the movie sucks!".

    There's also the Moe moe 2-ji Daisenryaku strategy game. It has moe everything military in it, but being a Daisenryaku game it sure isn't easy. Great art though. I'll have to check out Kantai collection when it comes out. I wonder what a moe USS Massachusetts would look like? Probly short, heavily stacked, and wearing only an apron considering her class was the heaviest armed of the Washington treaty era US Battleships, and her nickname was big Mamie.

    I got another question for you guys that import a lot of figures. Is it me or is has the US dollar become more favorable lately? I was looking at a Senran Kagura figure on amiami that I swear was originally pushing the $120 range is now around $75 usd. It doesn't appear to had gotten a bigger discount, so I'm wondering if its the exchange rate.

    Looking at the VF-1 armored Valkyrie I'd guess anywhere from $100-150 given the complexity of the design. Maybe about $60 for the VF-1 alone. Its possible to simplfy so it uses less parts so that would drive cost down. As for if it would be allowed for sale in the US? Yes as all it would take is to negotiate the rights from HG. If it was a design from mac plus, II, Zero, 7, or Frontier then no.

    Thanks for the tip! Everything looks to be working fine so far with only one small glitch where I got stuck in a wall, but I doubt that had to do with the USB drive. The level of detail in this game is insane! It's telling in a game when you go to a strip club and each girl there has their own look, personality, spoken lines, and work shifts.

    Has anybody on here ever gotten a preowned item off amiami.com? There is a Tamaki To Heart figure I've wanted for a while and the price seems reasonable, but the description refers its condition as "B" slight damage so it has me a little worried. For whatever reason amiami only shows a stock picture of the figure not the actual preowned figure.

    Harlock Saga IS the one based on the opera. Wagner's Ring Cycle to be exact. Look up the plot for Der Ring des Nibelungen on Wikipedia and Harlock Saga actually maks sense. Besides the show I think you're thinking of is Herlock: Outside Legend Endless Odyssey.
