DB-5, DB-7 its an easy mistake to make if cars aren't your thing and you can't remember what number off hand the Aston Martin was. It's also not like went and claimed every Aston Martin of the last 20+ years looked the same like someone else did... DB. Oh yeah I love the c*ck, just not Craigs as Bond Seriously though maybe I wouldn't have noticed or cared if he hadn't done all those interviews claiming he wanted to put a gay scene in. After that anytime he's half naked I wonder if he's trying to pander to the gay community especially when we saw more of his naked flesh than the Bond Girls in each of his films. Hell in Casino Royale he was the one that did the famous Ursula Andress rising from the ocean scene!

Guillermo Del Toro’s ‘Pacific Rim'
renegadeleader1 replied to fifbeat's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Hey numbnuts did you even bother to read the article you linked to? The film didn't lag that far behind Grown Ups 2, and is still projected to make over 400 million world wide according to the article. That would be a modest success. This is a movie that due to word of mouth will stay strong over the next couple of weeks giving it some legs. Then there would be the dvd sales which will be huge.- 1207 replies

I saw it earlier today and now that I've had som time to digest it I'd say say its a solid 3 out of 5. Because of my logic there was several things that bug me though... How I think the movie should have ended....- 1207 replies

Guillermo Del Toro’s ‘Pacific Rim'

I think this movie is being set up to fail. I check my local theaters tiimes and between the two versions (normal and 3D) its only being shown 4 times. Its not much better at other theaters around the area. Why isn't this getting the wide release like other movies are this summer? Hell when the lone ranger and man of steel opened first day they had showings every hour.- 1207 replies

You have a buff dude tied to a chair naked with close ups of his ass/body and he's getting his balls slapped around by another dude with a rope... yeah nothing homoerotic there.

So after testing the waters with a homoerotic torture scene n Casino Royale, and flirtatious innuendo in Skyfall what are the odds this will have the gay sex scene Daniel Craig has been clamoring for since h became Bond?

It would be funny if they brought him back in Expendables 3 playing a good guy in a nod to double impact and its "two Van Damme's for the price of one!" Twin angle.

The hilarious thing is this is the original Japanese company doing this! They fired the American in charge that showed more respect to the series origin than they do.

If you haven't seen either film I highly recommend them and you should at least give them a chance. At least rent the first one.

This movie was awesome! I loved the sci-fi references and spoofs it threw in there from alien, to attack of the clones, to even world war Z. God bless those little minions!

Well... Right Stuf just announced that they will be releasing Cat's Eye on dvd. This was the other less popular show Imaginasian licensed. I'd say chances are very good now that we will see a US blu-ray or dvd of Orguss in the next two years.
-
I think there's going to be an announcement this weekend at Anime Expo concerning a US release. A month and half ago when the Yamato girl show hosts let it slip that the foreign title would be Starblazers 2199 they were warned not to say anything more until the foreign distributors were ready to make an announcement. Last show the Girls started discussing Starblazers 2199 again.

I hate to admit this, but that trailer was no worse than 90% of the Van Damme, Norris, or Segal guilty pleasure films from the 80s-90s.

Yup, never the less this idea was also used in Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla II(not to be confused with Terror of Mechagodzilla, Godzilla against Mechagodzilla, or Tokyo S.O.S.) where the JSDF targeted the "secondary brain" in Godzilla's lower body to paralyze him.- 1207 replies

Bleh...Just what we need, a cop out that renders the first two movies completely pointless because the scriptwriters and film makers couldn't give us the flm we really want a massive future war offensive that shows the downfall of skynet with its denfense net and the sending of the first terminator back in time.
