  1. So what's wrong with a $40 FC Twin that plays NES and SNES that I would need to buy a $499 system?
  2. You shouldn't be surprised given this is the forum where people cast movies using pornstars, question wether Megan Fox has enough acting for brazzers.com, or go out of their way to make a note of wether or not an actress in a sentai show is a former JAV idol.
  3. I knew it was 84! You can tell by where the largest fin is placed on the back and the skin texture.
  4. Actually you could carve out a little niche like the 3rd party transformers people do, and do models that HG/Palladium can't or won't touch like the mecha from Mac7, Zero, Plus, or Frontier.
  5. I watched this show, and gave it a decent chance but to be honest it was garbage.
  6. You know guys all this talk about Star Wars has reminded me of what really turned me away from being a fan that I had mentally blocked out. It wasn't the prequels, or the NJO/Legacy books. It was the dvd version of ROTJ where they replaced Sebastian Shaw as Anakin's ghost with Hayden Christensen for no god damn good reason what so ever. It got worse hearing Lucas's own convoluted and nonsensical explanation that only made want to punch him in the face.
  7. Anyone who calls this version fat cat zilla obviously hasn't seen much of the heisei era suits.
  8. At one time in the mid to late 90s Lucasfilm treated all the EU as official canon going so far as to have press conferences declaring the next official work. Then the prequels came out and the EU was left scrambling to do retcons to make everything fit. Then Lucas declared only his films are canon, but that didn't keep him from tinkering with the novels(see Anakin Solo's fate in the New Jedi Order) to fit his only vision of the universe. Lucasfilm itself never officially took that stance and continued churning out garbage like more NJO and Legacy of the Force. Only after Disney has bought out Star Wars that anything has been officially declared non-canon. That most likely includes Shadows of The Empire, as Disney has straight out said the movies, clone wars cgi series, and the new rebels series are the only canon right now. Then again Dash Rendar's Outrider appears in the special edition of A New Hope, so who the f*** knows at this point.
  9. So you know how if you eat too much potassium your poop turns green instead of brown? Thats the difference, and in both cases thats a good amount of green down the toilet.
  10. I wouldn't say most of the EU was crap, just mostly everything post Bantam losing the rights to Star Wars to Del Rey. It began with the New Jedi Order series, and includes anything prequel related. Of the Bantam books the only ones I would say are really bad are Darksaber and the Young/Junior Jedi Knights series. Ironically all those were by Kevin J. Anderson. The Black Fleet Crisis trilogy had its moments even if its story got cut down at the knees by Lucas. At its conception in it was meant to shed light on Luke's mother and had the misfortune of starting its print run right when Lucas decided to start work on the prequels. There are some underated ones too like Truce At Bakura or Crystal Star. Overall the best would be anything by Michael Stackpole(X-wing series, I Jedi) Aaron Allston(Wraith Squadron), or the master himself Timothy Zahn(Thrawn trilogy, Hand of Thrawn duology). The Han Solo Adventures(corporate sector series, not the Hutt space ones) by Brian Daley are also exceptional. For those TL;DR Good- ding dong the vong are gone, Chewie lives, and all the f*** ups the new jedi order created can be undone. Bad- bye bye Thrawn, X-wing squadrons, and Mara Jade.
  11. Lol! I checked for the heck of it on youtube and its like the 4th result if you search "agile warror f-111x". Here it is in spoilers for anyone that might think its NSFW even if there is no nudity, or much of anything else. Oh yeah I should have mentioned earlier Agile Warrior did get a sequel called Black Dawn. This time though you pilot a chopper instead of a jet so it really is like a 3-D jungle strike. The problem is it was released before the analog stick controller came out for the psx so the controls are a pain. The difficulty is high too, and it sucks when bullet holes in the canopy obscure your vision.
  12. Here's what I remember about this game that I still own.1. It plays like a fully 3-D member of the strike series, only with jets. 2. You can kill enemy pilots after they eject and are in their chutes. 3. Fully deformable terrain that lets you literally move a mountain with enough weapons. 4. Napalm, fuel air burst and nuclear bombs. 5. Co-op mode involved one guy flying while one guy handled the weapons systems similar to a real attack jet like the F-111 or A-6. 6. Finish the game and Tucker Smallwood buys you a stripper as the ending.
  13. Completely unrelated, but how about the mecha from the SNES game Metal Warriors like the Nitro?
  14. I just realized that much like Scrapped Princess had all the characters named after guns, or weapon manufacturers its spiritual successor has every characters last name named after cars. The main characters are Chaika Trabant(a cold war era german econobox) and the Acura siblings.
  15. Been a very long time since I've seen this classic. :thumbs up: I think there is a sequel called "The Gods Must Be Crazy Too!"
  16. The book was god awful. I hope it bombs and who ever made it loses their shirt.
  17. You lose.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Ball_Express_(film)
  18. In the comics there are copies of the IM suit being used by a special forces team, they're called the Guardsmen/man. As for why they aren't in the films, up to this film Tony refused to share his technology behind it with anyone but Rhodie and a select few in Shield, which thanks to the forward thinking of Black Widow and Fury is...
